Yes, they were voted... to not be in a faction in the vanilla game.
Neutrals are nice. More the merrier and whatnot.

The fact that one of those is clearly a demon catapult makes me think demons in story

Sylvan and Necropolis towns do look good! Any info about Dungeon?
And i see in the neutral list that the sea elf is not there either and there is also no Phoenix... :/

Articun, I've seen that there is a townscreen image for Dungeon which is the same as it was during voting (Faceless memories)
...and yes, I really like the Sylvan town now. Same for Sylvan fort and dwelling. The image from deviantart (posted earlier) has different colours and weird perspective so it looks weird there but I took my own screenshot and here we are  Beautiful town !

The sylvan town looks like crap to be honest. It's kids tree house meets garden party(with those movable rainshelter which the "houses" or buildings remind me of).
The necro temple looks pretty nice actually. Nothing to do with town though, but WAY better than the actual necro TS with the giant spider legs.
PS the image on backstab scares me into thinking they copy/pasted h6 assasins(I'm sure they wouldn't do such a think... right?)
PPS Anybody see the interesting hero specializations devs talked about before? I mean the ones they've published aren't all there is... Yet I just keep seeing same kinds of specializations for heroes...

Normally I hate the copy-paste behaviour but I really like model of Assasins from H6 so I wouldn't be sad. What makes me feel bad is the image of dryad and green dragon.

I think the better quality Sylvan town posted above looks really good.
The fact that no Sylvan hero had Grandmaster Destiny is outrageous. If there are actually demon units, even as neutrals, that's kind of lame, but for all we know, these can be old data files left in the game but not actually used, similar to how we had the Snow Ape in H5 data, and obviously the Academy relics in H6.
