From what I understand in MP in heroes you've NEVER been able to do anything whilst the another player is in combat in Multiplayer. Because your turn isn't active. It would be like playing chess and moving your pieces whilst it's the other guys turn. So unless i'm incorrect in what i've seen and been told this shouldn't come as much as a shock as it seems? But perhaps i'm wrong and if so please do correct me.

As for %stuff I agree and SLOWLY we're changing things to be % based(read better scaling). You need to bear in mind we're trying to cater for all play styles and sometimes % based stuff can be confusing for newer players or less experienced players as things take longer to ramp up compared to static gains. But where it is obvious numbers need tweaking they will be.

In heroes 5 we had real sim turns..so this is a quite shocker indeed.

Heroes 7 version of sim turns equals no sim turns for me and many others. So we have waited till now and we will never get sim turns???

That was it for me and heroes 7 unfortuntely. I have no incentive to continue playing or creating maps.

Patch 1.5 and scripts still don`t work for player 2. Who the hell knows but maybe your engine doesn`t support that too. That will be 200 hours for nothing.

Thank you! I know it's a silly request, but I do enjoy looking at many of the creature models in action. A grid less battlefield would look really great if it was possible

I think there is a misunderstanding or i'm not getting something. The complaint/request is that whilst in SimTurns you want to be able to continue playing whilst the other player is in Combat? Something i'm assured has never been the case with heroes. Or is something else the issue?

You are talking to someone with over 100+ online games in Heroes V and each turn 2-3 battles. AND YES we were able to do everything only constraint was when the two heroes were very close to each other.

I've been told that we can and will do this. Not sure on an ETA (I'll find out the technicals ) What we are talking about now is making it a hotkey so it's easily toggle-able whenever you want to turn them on and off, and i'm being asked would you like to be able to toggle it during the tactics/deployment phase also? Let me know your thoughts and i'll get it done.

lol...they finally "fixed it"! This is as if they didnt know from us from the beggining ... what a noobs! and they call themselves "programmers" ... just a bunch of german flannel pajamas!

Yeah, it seems heroes 7 will have no future. I can't believe I trusted them again. We would like an official statement about this sim turn fiasco. It is interesting to see if again Ubisoft messed it up and covered the whole truth until now. Very professional

I hope no more heroes games are released by Ubi's management.

Wonderful! a toggle-able hotkey sounds nice. This way I can flip it on quickly to check if there's space for a large unit to move through a tight spot or other similar situations. About the tactics/deployment phase, I would just want the spaces available to maneuver my troops highlighted. Mostly so I don't forget about the extra row of spaces if I level up the tactics perk

We demand answer for sim turns let's not lose concentration over small features. Right now, gomaki, conviently escaped using the_green_drag request.

In H5 there were no such restrictions. Both people play their turns at the same time, regardless of their presence in combat or adventure map. That's the whole point, playing SIMULTANEOUSLY! If that cannot be fixed then H7 multiplayer has no future and we might as well wait for H8. But the fact that sim turns have been implemented so badly is just unbelievable.

Even H3 HD Mod features Simultaneous Turns since this November, granted it is a crude, simple version of it. It seems to get the job done though, despite the limitations the authors must be facing

Well being able to do something whilst the other player is in combat will not be the case for Heroes 7 sim turns. That's how it is. It's never been promised to be one way or another(I have been running around the office trying to find out what the deal with this whole situation is)
As for an official response i'm not Ubisoft, but I will certainly pass it on to them. If it has been promised to be some way then i'm sure they have an answer for you.

What i've been told is that H5 sim turns worked as such that when 2 opposing heroes get close to each other the game reverts to normal turns (something that doesn't happen in H7) And that you weren't able to do anything in if your opponent was in combat. If the 2nd is not the case then it's just misinformation my end. Hopefully that clears it up and if you have links to something that promised SImTurns would be different to how it is now, I would love to see them.

I don't believe any of you ever talked about the specifics of Sim Turns, just their existence (they were confirmed for the first time here).

After H5 however, it's only logical fans would assume this feature would be similar to its previous iteration.
