Yeah yeah angels are Richards. And only appear in campaigns. Much fun.

The true archangels are in H3, with insane stats, mobility and a mothersnowing sword of judgement. That was glorious.

With regards to Angels... they're basically "winged humanoid envoys of the Dragon of Light", right? While they don't reflect it in gameplay, the Faceless are basically the same thing, just for Dark. I am operating under the assumption that the Valkyrie are the equivalent for Fire.

So where are the "Angels" of Earth, Water, and Air? Where's our ultrapixies with gigantic leafwings? Our ice angels that would totally rip off Hitsugaya from Bleach? Our... uh... drawing a big blank for Air, alas. BUT THE POINT REMAINS!

Not really. Each dragon in Ashan created one race. Angels come from Elrath, Faceless - Malassa and their equivalents are Dwarves (Arkath,) Human beings (Ylath,) Nagas (Shalassa) and Elves (Sylanna) respectively. Why do Angels and Faceless are the only one with the ability to fly? Reasons...

Ubi should quit faffing about and turn every unit into Pokemon already.

Lately I've been thinking that besides diplomacy, scouting was the other skill that needed a major overhaul.
Scouting previously has always been a kind of wasted skill-up on the main hero except ofc in H4 where it made the hero imbalanced in epic proportions.

If it was a main skill then it would need some major bonuses from perks to make it worthwhile. Skills like "Ambush" for extra initiative at beginning of combat or "Opening Volley" for free shot with ranged units at the start of combat could work but I'm running out of ideas quickly.
The other option would be to make it a sub-skill of another main skill. It was in logistics previously but I think it would better fit under either leadership or nobility.
In leadership it could work in harmony with the diplomacy skill to tell you when an enemy is willing to join you. This however also seems kinda overpowered.
With nobility it could unlock "resourcefulness" and maybe "spoils of war"(like in H5) but that seems hardly worth it on the main hero.

Dungeon is Poison/Dark
Sylvan is Grass/Fairy
Necropolis is Ghost/Dark
Stronghold is Fighting/Ground

The Valkiries are more like Arkath version of Glories/Mizu-Kamis

Scouting would be nice if it did what H7 gives you for free: Knowing rewards, creature willingness to join or spells from shrines. Even on the main, it would save you some movement if you knew beforehand what to go for or avoid.

Resourcefulness and spoils of war would be worth picking for a main if they were tied to hero level.

I would like a return of nobility, including growth boosters, estates and mining.

And actually, I'd like leadership to be combined with tactics. Stuff like reinforcements you can call during battle, taking advantage of the battlefield, formations and flanking.

A rmg though needs a decent skillwheel to work at last with the new system.sylvan heroes will be able to learn light magic!!!
Btw yesterday my game got stuck into battle. I was waiting for gaygoyle to die(it did but it was still on the bar below).
Also lets hooe the fix spells and balance them.
But an rmg,a more neat leveling system and acid dragon's incredible mod,and the game already looks better (especially dungeon)!
Don't forget the dlc too! And finally with limbic's promise to fix stuff...(that was a joke,this whole thing is too good to be true,i m sure they will mess up somehow,but i m still having fun with the game though)
