It's possible, but very unlikely. That'd be actually a miracle to restore the game. Knowing in mind they didn't earn much money from the sales, I don't foresee a happy ending.

I think it was more than that. We knew from erwan himself that the fortress was going to be the most probable faction. The leak was about the lineup and what it involved and some more bits of info here and there.

The point is that some people make it their mission to be the "saviors" of whatever precisely because the devs are incompetent. The sooner they wake up from their delusions of making a difference, the better. People ought to realize their boundaries and keep things simple because for the past 10 years the producer / developer - community relationship has become increasingly warped.

What happened to Ubisoft? For two months we don't have any informations about Trials by Fire? Are they sabboting H7 or what?

They did say no news until the expansion is released. Besides, I think they are busy dealing with Vivendi, their natural enemy in stock market.

But why? It make perfectly zero sense... If you want to sold something, you advertise it. How do customers have to know there will be DLC for H7 if nobody tells them about it? And if he even know, he cannot make pre-order? They're saboting their own project. Bravo Soft:Ubi, bravo...

Ten days ago was one month since last entry on official blog. To mark the occasion I made post on official forum. There was some activity between few people that actually go to the forum but there was no answer from any offical sources despite many threads asking for information both on official forum and on steam. Silence was broken by this post from community manager.
What is reason behind such silent policy is still unknown. My guess is they simply don't give a d@mn anymore and want to get over with expansion to stop the agony and close this unfortunate chapter.

Ok I'll repeat it once more.
I am pretty sure Ubi Moshi's post did NOT mean that we would get no news until release.
She just said the site will be updated (and the fortress faction added) as soon as the release of the game is behind the door.
We can still get some news articles about heroes classes, skills, neutral units or even trailer. If I remember it right, before vanilla release we got the articles first and then the site was updated.

Did anyone think about the possibility that they simply don't pay anyone anymore for updating news and blogs and whatnot? That they try to save every Penny, because the loss is already big enough?

I don't know about that. It doesn't seem much work to write something, post an image or make a video. Well, unless they want to imagine something that doesn't exist. Still got those words of "Expert AI" still stuck in the head, from that H7 trailer video.
