Zombi_Wizzard said: nope, they are clearly shown as leggs. Normal spider has those very small things in front, that's true, but they aren't those 2 leggs in front. They're way too big, and shaped like the rest of 8 leggs.
Look at real Spiders and at how a Namtaru moves, what else can I say...

Spider has no arms... ?
It would be diferent if those limbs would replace her arms ... but look at it. The lady has leggs or crotch, where real spider's face should be.
It would be much more convincing, if 2 front spider limbs would be removed ... She has arms, she does not need them. On this picture it looks like 10 leggs, I'm sorry.
OK I'll rephrase this ... she has 8 legs and 4 arms, 2 of which comes from her groin region ... 12 limbs in total. Happy?

I wonder if this announcement will say if they are going to change things. Even if it's nothing major, most of the classes could use at least one different main skill. And I'd like them to make ultimate skills cost more than one skill point so there is actually a reason to not get them.

I'm talking about those "2 extra legs" exactly. Those are named pedipalp, and one of their functions is to catch the prey.
IIRC in H6 Namtaru attacks with those pedipalps to inflict venom, so, maybe they're tosic. + they seem to be sharp and can be used as weapons. And it should look like a leg, it has the same segmentation.
I'm sorry, but, please, next time do not confuse pedipalps with legs. I believe this subject was already discussed before.

I think you may want to double-check the blog page ^^
P.S.: I'll return later with a post about the Tales. I have some questions in particular.
AND. WHERE. IS. GRIFFIN'S. COAT. OF. ARMS?
And finally we come to the end of this wonderful story. I think even those who dislike Ashan as a setting will recognize those Tales as a good read.
I enjoyed trying to find all of the references in the Tales. There're many allusions to real-world wars. And many references to other M&M games as well, I especially like the Orc prophecy about Red Queen.
I should also note that the language is relatively good (yes, there were some typos, but it's still superior to the language of regular blog posts).
But.
Where's the Griffin's coat of arms? It was promised to be released as well. All of them were promised except Raven.
Will we have the same story told from Seamus' point of view? I think it would be interesting to learn about things from a different perspective. Maybe another hooded, skeletal figure may told "true" story...
And the whole stained glass puzzles me.
There was no Greyhound VS Stag. This part of the glass was released, but it had the Unicorn in between.
There was no Greyhound VS Bull. They were allies!
Yes, it may be that Jorgen haven't told everything to us, but there was no Wolf VS Unicorn at all! The Wolf entered the war lately and attacked Griffin momentarily. Unicorn was occupied by the Greyhound and the Stag.
Marzhin, if you read this thread, can you answer those questions, ple-e-ase!

Basically the stained glass was created very early on the project, before the details of the Ten Years War were fully established. I've tweaked some parts of it to use as illustration for the articles, but yeah, some parts of the artwork don't match the story in the end.
That said, it's safe to assume that all Duchies fought each other at some point, even shortly. Skirmishes, border incidents... Ten years of war can be messy.

Neat.
Quote: Ivan’s Council was born that day. And it is now up to us, to all of us, to write the final chapter of the Tales of Ten Years War.
Isn't it already written? Something something prequel

As of the moment when Jorgen is telling this story, it's not
And anyway, you might already know the ending, but you don't know the road to that ending

Who said that it can't be rewritten. And again, and again, and again, etc.

I hope so ^^ Sadly, it seems they will be about Slava's children...
As I suspected. Well, thanks for the answer anyway!

Not necessarily. The idea is to let people make suggestions regarding what the next lore article should be about.

It's be nice to hear about Ivan's backstory, about his family. Although I think one article already mentioned it... I just can't recall which one it was.

Then I'm shouting out loud: the same tale from Seamus' perspective would be very welcome! I bet his advisor may spin a different tale. And the inconsistencies between Jorgen's tale and the stained glass can be explained by it.
