That's fine. But I don't just not like the head. The body looks like a snake which doesn't make sense to me as it's a slower, wingless dragon. The color scheme is nice on both versions but I wanted more than a re-skinned Kirin with a few touch ups. I'm not that easily impressed.

Quite frankly I think the Sylvan Dragons share their models with the Kirin, rather than the Black Dragon. Even the pose on the artwork is similar. But they still rock!

I notice it carries two sets of berries.
Usually I can appreciate a good pun but, being such a stick in the mud,
I choose to take everything H7 literally and actually believe Treants communicate through barking.

Yes Nice touch. And butterflies too.
I also enjoy seeing that the regular and ancient treants both have the exact same fruits still growing on them.. nobody bothered to pick them up oranges just rotting on the branches... probably why the glow turned blue...

The fruits have to be picked regularly or the Treants get grumpy.
Like with cows and milking.

don't stone me for saying this, as I never take anything for granite, but it is a pretty igneous twist on an old creature and I'm glad to see the artists being boulder

I think Sylvan as a whole really will stand out as an colourful and vibrant faction. I really like it. If they have succeded with animations (which the youtube video suggests) they will be a treat to watch. Colourful units will also serve to diversify the adventure map.
In this regard H7 may succed where H6 did not. H6 had better artworks though, hoping for great 3D models.
