So have there been any potential hints at the necropolis line up? I heard something about dread knights making a return.

Kimmundi(I think) said that they came up with some awesome new unit for Necropolis, that is about it, we don't know anything else.

Hm, I guess decaying Werewolves are off the charts since we have one in Haven's line up 
Hopefully this new unit is something fresh, and not just conjoined unit like wrath + death knight

Oh dear. I had totally forgotten the evil looks of that undead in Eternal Darkness... That stuff gave me nightmares as a kid haha!
I would love to have such evil in Necropolis aswell...

The best thing in the lame Dungeon lineups is that the one with Manticore is likely to lose so it's more easy to bring the Lamassu back for Necropolis!

Why would you want Lamasu back? It's a poor manticore rip-off.
Better to have a wraith, death knight or something entirely new opposed to this badly designed creature.

Death Knight is just an undead version of a Haven unit while Lamassu was at least a beast-man AND undead version of the Manticore. So I obviously vote for the latter. We can have new units instead Bone Dragon for example (which will never happen but anyway)...

Lamasu isn't Manticore rip-off, it was Wizard experiment, combining Manticores and Humans. It has failed because those creatures were dying from their own poison and they had short life. But unlike living things, Undead are immune to poison and that is the reason why Necromancers were reanimating these creatures as Undead.
To be honest, Lamasus weren't really impressive but they were cool just for the fact that we see something else in Necropolis army beside Skeletons, Liches, Vampires and Bone Dragons. Same goes for Namtarus.
Of course, I am huge fan of Death Knights and Reapers and I wish to have them back but we will see in the end what units they will choose.

Meh, I honestly feel there are much more intimidating creatures than Lamasu.
Necropolis should be about fear and horror. It should look and feel scary, deranged, sick, something that came out of your worst nightmare.
I still wish Ubisoft used some inspiration from Bloodborne, they had some sick undead creatures, or perhaps Cthulhulu ( can't even spell that lol ) anything that it is not standard vampire, standard skeleton, standard zombie and so on.

Just hope they bring back more traditional Vampires like Nosferatu, and not that dumb looking Vampire in full body armor. Also, less green and more ... you know, dark and scary.

Based on my readings of H.F.Lovecraft, I would say it is pronounced sth like "C'hthoull'hu" and YES, imo it would be a brilliant idea to fit that "Great Ancient" into the Necro lineup somehow
And YES, it's time to go beyond standards for Necro...
