Well my favorite one is the H5 one but this one is a nice mix between the old ones and the H5 one so its ok for me.

Doesn't feel logical that titan is magical energy with armor-plates when in the past it has been more "humanoid" with solid form.

It's still a construct, except it also glows in the dark now Think the wizards dabble in radioactive experiments?

Welcome to the world of Ashan.

That and the fact that this chronologically takes place in the past, before their designs got more physical. Also, we don't know how much magic is actually in there; yes, there's a lot of glowy bits, but that might just be animating mechanical portions inside. I don't think its fair to judge a creature on factors we don't fully understand like that.

I'm also not sure what was with the quotation marks around "humanoid". Um, every titan, excluding the very first one (a dinosaur), has been humanoid. The H7 titan may be magical, but it has a humanoid shell, so... what was the point in bringing that up?

Titans as constructs are emotionless and mindless. Mere slaves to the will of their creators. But Enroth is Enroth and Ashan is Ashan. In the world where dragons are gods you can't make titans equal to them so it makes sense. From artistic point of view I think these homam 7 titans look good enough although it's a shame they covered their faces making them even more emotionless and constructlike. Again I guess it's all on purpose. Personally my favourite titans are those from h2 h3 and h5.

They werent bigger, stronger golems before? because they certainly looked like bigger stronger golems before, except in H4.

Well, it's not bad, however I prefer the older ones more. This "Golem Titan" was a little disappointing for me in H5, instead of a "Proto-god" Greek mythological figure.

I like this one better than the H5 one.
I know it's not very greek-god-like, and I do like that about the H2 and H3 ones, but this one is still better than H5.

I admit I would have loved seeing the academy going back to the classic H3 Tower look (clouds, snow, white-blue walls), but for the arabic theme they are going for, both this and the Arcane Bird are pretty good.

I would actually have prefered to have the Golem and Colossus/Titan merged into one unit, because after all, what is the Colossus if not a huge animated creature which is exactly the same as a Golem. This would allowed us to have a really big bad-ass Golem and would also have opened up the Academy line-up to some more new and interesting creatures.

+1

Feel good to have them back. I don't think the design is bad except if they glow to much in game.

I like the animation. I don't like the "goldening" on upgrade thing though, and those raging/generator titans from DoC were much more awesome.

Is it me or do the basic (not upgreaded) titans already have the ranged attack?

It's hard to say at this time, given the pre-alpha state of what we've seen. As far as I'm concerned, the ranged attack looked unfinished and a temporary placeholder for a powerful-looking attach.

I actually think that Titans in Heroes 7 look really good. The Heroes 5 Titans are the worst looking and the storm Titans are a little bit better.

HMM7 "titans" are ridiculous. They look like some jelly in armor.

I also think the H7 Titan has a great design. The whole Academy faction was very well done imho.
