I'm against the voting and I've said several times that I consider it unprofesional from the devs to get some marketing hype at the cost of crappy game developement.
Though I voted yes just because if they reveal Lamasus are comming back I would've liked a way to fight that (and personally I would get rid of vampires, but since they made such a huge deal about the poison drinking and almost everyone being a vampire despite contradictions with HOMM5, I think even in a poll they would put them in every option).

Well yeah, I don't think that you can even spell Necropolis without thinking of Vampires, Liches and Skeletons, those three units will always be the part of every Necropolis town, everything else is subject to change.

On the one hand, I do see the value in community involvement. H6 was left to the developers in all its aspects. And the general aftermath was not pretty. Personally, I took it for what it was and enjoyed it for what it was. A Heroes game, even 6, is still welcome in my book.
On the other, I think Ubi's at the point where they create a game that's for fans and by the fans, in an attempt to maintain the fanbase and to get them to outreach to players unfamiliar with the brand (presumably by voting campaigns).
Even though I voted, "no", I do see some potential reasons behind the "yes" rationale.
