Yes, the same way nobody would choose Treants over Emerald Dragons, right?
Well, I beg to differ.
Different because Green Dragon won't be a flyer. If these units are the same as in Heroes IV then it's a pointless lineup. Hydra should be elite.

One is tanky, defensive unit that you can't retaliate against and is attacking all targets around it, second is fast, aggressive flyer that is also immune to magic(?).
I can definitely see the cases where Hydra is a lot better than Black Dragon, and if they choose to make these two champions, I am pretty sure that they will make Hydra worth the champion slot.

where is the love for faceless angel? lets focus on the spellcasting and the magical aspect of dungeon. a master spellcaster as a champion, and the black dragon could still be their catapult!

Eh seems that someone on the comment section said all my posts are coming from my "imagination". It seems no one reads the hero back stories, the ashan compendium or even read the might and magic portal. ; /
Still going to fight the good fight vote in inferno! Please come on give inferno a chance here!

Inferno can get all the chance they want ... once we come to second or third expansion.

I don't care about inferno anymore we have seen enough of their story and there really isn't anything new they can bring.

eh sorry, not a fan of those things at all, I suspect they were pretty much "borrowed" (lol) from the faceless of Warcraft just like the Naga
then again I guess the only other option for a dungeon spellcaster in Ubi's mind is another S&M dark elf with whip and stockings lol

I think the Faceless deserve another shot than some expansion pack in crappy H6. For all my dislike for Ashan lore, the Faceless does seem to rank rather prominently along with the Angels, so I do think it would be the best champion duo for Dungeon: Faceless and Dragons. Hydra seems more at home in a swamp anyway ...

I have to ask, how is it borrowed from Warcraft? If you mean the Faceless Ones, those guys are much more like Cthulu-esque bipedal things compared to Ubi's dark angels with wispy tendrils rather than legs.
And the Naga of Warcraft, beyond being watery snake people, are quite different from the Naga of Ubisoft, as Ubi uses more human variatons instead of the strange "molded flesh" looking Naga men, and their women use more fish fins and webbed hands. Which are not what Ubi's Naga are. Never mind the fact that Naga from Hinduisim are snake looking and are thought of as protectors of springs, lakes and so forth, meaning that the very thing they have in common with Warcraft Naga (being snakes, water themed) comes from real life anyways. They didn't borrow there either.
I think Faceless fit well as a spellcaster. I don't mind them being elite or champion, but I feel they should fit in. I still find it strange that they aren't as good as Seraphs (which aren't even as powerful as Angels) or for somereason more numerous, which is why I feel they should be Champions, but I don't mind either way. I feel anyting is better than the whip-and-leather Matriarchs, as that was another elf unit that didn't need to exist (4 elves as opposed to Haven's at-the-time 5 humans. What?)

Devs are not providing any info on factions, meaning they want dwarves and inferno to lose voting. This whole voting is just deception. My hype is running out day by day. Is it so hard to say possible creatures? Its not. They are just letting nostalgia crush dwarves & inferno. So intelligent way to make some fans to blame other fans but not themselves.
Ubisoft learning to make game politics, im sure they will sell good amounts of copies this time. But they will never become awesome like H3. Not in my eyes at least.

I'll repeat what I said:
Protolisk said:
Woah now. They revealed the vote at the end of a week, and tend to only reveal things on weekdays. Plus, we have an entire month for this thing. They'll reveal stuff for it. Though, I do hope thy reveal more than just a blurb like they did Sylvan and Fortress, like you, but don't outright blame Ubi for not doing something in a day what they have a month to do. Be a little more patient.
Now, if all they do is rehash stuff they already told us and not tell us about units/faction ability and whatnot, then you have reason to cry foul.

not saying the artwork is ripped, but the concept from a design standpoint is close, I'm just highly suspicious Erwin was playing World of Warcraft while creating Ashan and decided, let's plug these faceless and naga into my awesome new setting
at least I definitely don't give him benefit of the doubt that he added the aquatic naga race with no "inspiration" from Blizzard, lol
the timing of 2003-2006 when WOW was so popular fits, much wow so creative, and again it's just my hunch, but with all the other plagiarism that took place it's hardly a stretch
but anyway that's why I'm not too keen on the faceless, just a bit supicious of creative bankruptcy there and don't really think they belong
