And since, other then the Hydra, I want to have creatures that do not already fall into an existing faction, it would have to be newly created. So Wyverns are out of the question and I do not feel like upgrading Serpent Flies to Champions.
What do you think about the Quetzalcoatl? I know it's been suggested by various people numerous times in other threads. Personally, I like it, and depending on how one went about it, I definitely think it could fit as a champion.

You said Serpent Flies. In my mind, those are completely different and shouldn't be equated...
But if you don't like the idea, then you don't like the idea.

Not sure about the Gorgons (never really liked them), but everything else seems great.

I especially like that although I have seen factions with more details, this one feels very complete in itself!

I enjoy the creative writing more than anything. The precise numbers don't interest me at all, quite likely because I have no idea whatsoever of what would or wouldn't be ballanced.

Whilst reading your commendable work I didn't find any information on a mount for the hero. What would you think the swamp folk would ride? I for one imagine they would ride a basilisk. Something between the H3 unit and the Dungeon mount form H6.

As you may have read Here, rumour has it that Basilisks have sided with Stronghold, so I actively avoided that.
But in my descriptions of Gorgons, I have said that only the best Lizardmen are able to ride them. Heroes are the best of the best, so I imagine that they, of all people, are able to ride Gorgons.
Though that would be a bit samy, as I'd have units like that already. So if that were to be a problem, I'd have them ride some kind of dinosaur like creature instead. Somthing along these lines.

Your sketches only show me that I was fully in the right complimenting you.
Those land-crocodile beasts look amazing.
