Poll Question:
Suggestion Poll: Expandable Towns

I have a suggestion about Town&Adventure Map

---------------------------------------------------

Make Towns on Adventure Map expandable on terrain.

With each new building, also add that building and some houses and stuff like that to Adventure map around the castle. Make it in a way to be harmony with terrain. For example, dont expand to water. For example make them with extra street lights(torchs etc) if its in underground{to me, this one was a real problem in series, sometimes towns left in darkness} Make Town walls cover the possible borders or only cover castles and its nearby terrain.

----------------------------------------------------

Generally speaking, i think this will make Adventure map and towns more alive than ever.

What do you think about this?

I like it, but only if towns are as elaborate and well-thought as H2/H3 ones.

If we take the "dump random buildings here and there" approach of some of the HoMM games, I'd rather not to see the same garbage twice

I like this idea, the small details are what makes you love a game you already like.

HoM&M budget is rather strict, I'd rather focus on more practical (and therefore useful) features.

Well, one can only dream, but if they can accomplish this I'd like them to do it.

Of course I agree on the fact that this is not necessary, and would serve just as a little thing that would make you like the game more.

Ok in theory, not priority. As I've said someplace else.

A nice idea, but low on the priority list.

They could simply reserve the area for a full fledged town to be part of the smallest visual possible. If they blend that reserved area with the surroundings (plants, trees, etc ...) and then fill it up as the town grows, it's probably not as difficult as letting the town gobble up the actual surrounding area. Just like the buildings themselves as they appear in the townscreen, so too could the town be painted in increasing sizes within its reserved area.
