Heroes simultaneous turn

Hello everydbody,

Simultaneous turns were implemented but there is always a limitation at the moment heroes meets themselves. I would like Heroes playing as a board game so i wrote this rules.

Here a picture of the map,

[/url]

Rules :

- The path between territories set one day of travel(movement)(cost reduce to 0 if you control the two territories)

* The double path between territories allow the fight between hero but not on single path.

* It is sometimes necessary to build a port or an altar of teleportation to activate paths (cf. H7 destroy and re-build path-way).

- Every territory is governed by a castle or a smaller structure (fort, town,dwellings...)

* If a territory is checked by a castle and what an enemy arrives above by the ways, the governor can decide to attack with any of his troops settled on his territory (Without any limit of movement) - Then at the beginning of every day.

* If the player enemy sees a hero of the territory in the previous round, he can decide to attack him (Without any limit of movement).

* If the player ennemy is present on your territory, you decide who plays first this round, then all actions in the territory are turn by turn based.

* All the heroes striding only on their territory without ennemy hero inside can move and attack during the round simultaneous.

* If the governor is an IA, your hero must defeat him while you enter into the territory (to take the castle and the territory - IA is defending).

* If two players are striding on the same territory, It is the player who has most experienced hero who obtain the right to move the first one.

* If the player ennemy is present on your territory, you have to wait that he stopped the present movement round of his heroes on this territory (you decided not to attack him).So the player ennemy have to play his hero first while you re playing your heroes outside of the territory

This is not actually related to the original post but to the "Simultaneous Turn" feature in general. I believe that Ubisoft is purposely avoiding to give any information at all regarding this feature... I'm afraid that in this context, their silence is actually an answer: they won't implement the feature but say nothing so that they don't instigate the rage of the fans until it's too late. I did not want to create a poll because I sincerely don't see a reason why someone would be against this feature. In the worst case, a single player person might not be interested in it as the feature won't have any consequences in his play-through.

Heroes is a game that is definitely fun to be played in single-player, but all good Heroes games survived for many years because of multi-player. In the current era of game development Sim Turns are indispensable in TBS's. Therefore, I am asking for your help to express your opinion on it so that the developers know that this is IMPORTANT. I also hope that our insiders make a lot of noise on this.

LE: wow, more than one day and nobody else commented. Not the kind of reaction that I had hoped for...

I agree. Nowadays ,when we tried to play heroes on multi it was too much of a wait . Even with civ nowadays you can play a good coop vs ai with almost no waiting time or a nice PvP game where early turns goes very fast so you have this 'one more turn ' feeling and this mind capture that makes you forget time 'oh snow got to fetch my kids , guys gtg i m already soooo latee' . With heroes every attempt was just reading a book and then 'where was I again ?' .

I hope the community will ask (again) the question about simultenaous turn, for the next Q&A.

Q&A

Quote:
06) Will there be a Random Map Generator or Simultaneous turns in the basic game?
[GP] As we said in a Q&A on Celestial Heaven, we're spending a lot of time on the Map Editor. Right now, it is too early to reveal details as a lot of work is still required to achieve our expectations.
Regarding Simultaneous Turns, it's also in our mind. As of today we can't confirm if or how it will be implemented.

I see no reason to keep playing Heroes 7 without dat.

Heroes constellations, thank to P4R4D0X0N for the name, it fit well the overall idea. Of course it s for sharing, no matter if the idea dislike,

The main idea is to simplify the movement heroes without prevent them to make any choice (move or stay). With the respect of class heroes (warrior or explorer) your hero can scout faster or slower the map - once time you have stayed enought to get a dwelling, you flag it and you doesn t need to repeat the operation.
