actually I'm now leaning towards sexuality being a social construct again so i'm considering identifying myself as bisexual

No, my real life has never been better than it is now. I think I've mentioned on HC that I've been severely depressed for many, many years. Thankfully, that is all gone now. I'm happier than I've ever been. I'm doing well financially, politically and socially.

Perhaps HC meant more to me when I was younger and it was a refuge against my real life depression.

It's funny to think that while it may have meant more to you, it didn't stop you from creating e.g. Xerdux, which if unfortunate could ultimately have made access to the page more annoying.

I think the xerdux account was very much part of that escape from reality, but its not like I wanted those penalities and I really did get genuinly sad over some of them that I found, and still find, deeply unjust.

You know, if you read the original post with a dark and sullen voice, it sounds like Mvass is talking about a prison sentence.

Punk music is originally from the 70's blizz, 90's were Grunge and Nirvana is okay in my book. And in general, people finally realized it was an idiotic idea to imitate string quartet in the background with a 40 dollar Casio synthesizer.

I think the Heroes years of H5 actually sit in 06-08 at the temple side and 07-09 on the community side. 2010 was already the start of the downfall.
This does have partly to do with the highpeak of the forum concept being on the fall too since 07. Not just heroescommunity.

How was your year, HC? What do you think about everything that's happened since last October?

I don't remember time that well on HC, but I've gotten more active again.

Been dealing with depression harshly again. It does not quite go away and in hindsight, I think I've been dealing it for much longer than these past two years, but I used to have a lot of manic episodes as well to conceal that. But enough about how I'm crazier than a shark with a can opener.

H7 seems to be happening. I'm not sure I like how ubi wants to involve the community in this. It's great PR, but I'm afraid the game may feel like it lacks good artistic direction.

The thread mvass posted made me laugh out loud. The DnD thread started by gnomes is cool. I start to feel I should consider making these threads, considering how long I've been here. At least, it feels really long.

I've had a similar experience. An issue bothering me, but then I start to think back and I realize the issue was there long long before I realized it.

It doesn't pop up very often, but a lot more often since I've gotten more independent. But I remember thinking back, when I was younger and I tried to be more independent and the same issue stopped me, and I thought nothing more of it, merely writing it off of me being too young/immature.. and the issue itself as a sort of laziness. Perhaps that's still the case though, but now it is some ~20 years later.

It's strange to consider that while the past might have been awesome, I'm not shy of wanting to go back and try to do everything again in a different way.. which I think might be more awesome.. but then again it might not. Maybe it's a video game damage? Not sure, but I think I first encountered the replayability concept afterwards.., so maybe it isn't. However it feels like time flies by faster than ever, the time I've used to think what I'd do in stead of doing it has been longer than the time interval of which I expected to be doing it.. it's the whole better chance of success with a plan, but being so slow at planning, that planning means no success.
