So hard to pick! 
Ultimately, though, I'm going for Malassa's Thousand Faces. Faceless should not be Elite tier, the defensive lineup doesn't quite click with me, and Thousand Faces seems the most like a straight-up society instead of a zoo/city hybrid.

I don't care if if second or third line up wins, but i dont want the first one.

Chill out, I am pretty sure that names are just placeholders. We had such bad names in H6 as well and they were changed.
Swordbearer/Horseman is changed in Haven and they already said that Magic bird/Arcane bird are going to be changed.

I probably would consider option 1 (Blade) if the Faceless was a champion. Why should Angels be champions and not Faceless?
Option 3 (Shield) doesn't appeal to me. At all. Never pegged the Dungeon to be the defensive type.
Option 2 (Malassa) was my pick. Return of Troglodytes and Medusas? And they're leading? What? Would need to know more about the Striders though.

Is it weird that I've been a supporter of "Faceless for Champions" for ages, yet I'm super happy to see BDs and Hydras across the board?

I'll most likely vote for the shield because the nightmare and medusa are description-wise very similar to nightmare(inferno) and succubi. And you do not steal from inferno, not the good creatures atleast....you can take the demented and tormentor...on second thought don't, let's pretend they didn't exist.

wow, laughing my ass off at Unicorns in the Dungeon lol
literally all of the brand new creatures suck (more dark elves and wtf is a strider lol), but nice that the old ones are back, and all lineups have the minotaur, black dragon and hydra, which is good

I really don't think that people should care about "offensive/defensive/balanced" wording in these posts.
I am not seeing much difference in terms of offence in lineups between second and third, third even looks more offensive with Manticores and 2 core shooters.
On the other hand, first lineup seems like way too one-dimensional and desperately needs diversity considering abilities.
It is Dungeon we are talking about, I am pretty sure that it will be offensive no matter the lineup.

People not liking Dungeon as a defensive town is mostly because of fragile elves, but there is least elves in third option, meaning it's viable.
So vote shield of darkness!

To be honest, even though I voted Blade, I'm torn. Blade has cool faceless, but also dumb dark unicorn. Faces has troglodytes and medusas, but also stupid dark golems. Shield has both troglodytes and manticoras, but also those stupid dark golems again. I don't know waht to do

Kind of dissapointed with the champion lineup. Not enough difference. Also BDs are not saboteurs. Damage dealer AND tank but not simply saboteour. We want the H4 blackie back.
And Hydra is missing the crucial muli-head attack. The no-flank thing seems only marginally usefull since hydras ar not exactly the unit you go charging the enemy front line with unless you have teleport assault ofc.

I can't decide between 2nd and 3rd.
The cores in Shield are better, with 3 interesting units Stalker (standard dark elf I guess), Trodgolyte (haha, sweet sweet Trodgolytes) and ranged flier, which sounds weird and hence could be interesting! In Thousand faces there are both Assassins and Stalkers which were the same unit in H5 so hence I am not liking it. If I were to see the designs however...
The elites however are better in Thousand faces, well it is basically just Medusa vs Manticore. And I like Medusa more. Although Dungeon might need some fliers which Thousand faces lack...
I haven't decided, leaning towards Shield of Darkness which is losing currently lol ;P
