Nightmares Shadowcorns are dissapointing, I'd had prefrered if they weren't Unicorns. And if this means they can't be part of Inferno in future games I'd be really, really mad.
Nightmare description sounds much better for a unique weapon extracted from a tortured unicorn than as a whole troop type description (and with that description the troop wouldn't be able to fight in a battle if it's always as confused and tormented as its opponents). I hope Blades loses but I wouldn't be mad to see a weapon getting the tormented unicorn horn story.

The question remains. What insect will it resemble? Spider is necro territorry. Scorpion is basically the manticore. Other then that ant or maybe something crab-like in appearance. Mantiss is probably out of question as it is too outlandish.
Just a little clarification, Scorpions, Crabs and Spiders aren't insects. 
But sure, they can resemble something close to it.

first's thing is first: i'm the realest....and spiders and scorpions arent insects
Second, generally insectoid means triangular head and big eyes. So mantis like isnt far fetched.

Wow, one misses so much if one is occupied for a full evening and the following morning.
Everyone has said it, but I agree. It's a crying shame the Shadowcorn and Strider have no art. The rest is rehashed old art, even if some of it was pretty good. New Hydra looks awesome and the best part is, this clearly leaves open the possibility of Swamp Hydras in the future.
But it doesn't affect my vote.

The insectoid appearance of the Striders sound interesting, at least they won't look like Golems as they are described as tall and gaunt. I wish we can still see an artwork before the poll closes.

Considering that Striders have something to do with Faceless, I wouldn't be surprised if their insectoid look is actually Butterfly, after all there are many types of Butterflies and Faceless can be one while Strider can be another type.
And Black Dragon as the ultimate Butterfly of course.

My vote was mainly based on wanting Trogs, Eyes and Manticores. Nothing more, nothing less.
I wasn't keen on either Striders or Shadowcorns and I'm still not that keen on them and I highly doubt artwork woulda changed that. But I'm not against them either, though I'd rather see Striders than Shadowcorns.

Ok the Medusa is too cool, I might have to change to Faces just because of that. Assassin/Stalker still overlap as designs imho, so that remains the negative. Although that is a pretty minor complaint.
Nightmare gets better and better. A huge boost imho. I have doubts about Faceless because an elite strike&return unit sounds like Glories and god I hated them. Overall I like the blades now slightly more, but the description of their playstyle remains a negative.
Shield is probably not my choice anymore, they have both solid core line-up and a solid elite-lineup which was the reason initially to vote for them but it seems to lack the "wow" factor currently.

Personally, I think the unit looks great. And if they make it ingame, I hope the real thing looks even better than the current artwork already does.

That would be unlikely considering that they are not flyers.

Well it depends on the actual design. While tree pythons seemed interesting as a concept back in the Sylvan voting days, when I visualized them snakes crawling and biting on the battlefield I just realized it would be stupid. Well, Hydra is also a snake. But a big snake

It's funny that I've always pictured Striders as a Golem rip-offs. It never occured to me that they can look like Dwemer constructs from Skyrim for instance... still, that doesn't change the fact that they are out of place here.

The new Hydra looks absolutely awful! I don't care that it looks like Heroes 1 Hydra or whatever, it's awful!
What was wrong with the heroes 3 or heroes 5 hydra that they had to make this monstrosity?

Not sure what the timestamps are supposed to mean, but I think there are plenty of things wrong with this post. Blade and Faces both have two elves and they are leading right now (though Shield has one), not really what I'd call 'nothing but snowing elves'. Not sure what 'same story all over again' means because Fury has three elves; the same amount as the other two Sylvan line-ups. Calling people with a different opinion than you kids does not help your credibility either.
