Elves moved from Sylvan to a darker side and one could argue their skin is even nicer now!
Actually, now that I think about it, it makes more sense for the Dark Elves to be pale. There's no sun. And sun causes tanning, which would make the skin fold and crease more, making it more rough.
Question is, do the Naga work the same way? Do their scales work like skin does? ... do Naga have skin on their faces, or is that all scales?

I have no idea how Ashan lore handles this. What I do know is that snakes do not get a tan in the sun.
I suppose the human part of the Naga (of the races that are more humanoid) could get a tan, but that's up to the lore creators to figure out.

Hmmm.
Now that the correct answer has been eliminated, I'm unsure which I would prefer. 2nd to the manticore I think black unicorns/nightmares in Dungeon is a very novel and attractive idea, but I also like troglodytes. The shadowsteel construct intrigues me, but I'm not sure if it fits with Faces the way that I thought it fit with Shield. Shield had a more tankish line-up that made a shadowsteel construct feel more fitting. With Faces the line-up feels kind of discombobulated.
I think I'll hold off voting till tomorrow.

majority voted for fury (because blade dancer is "badass")
now majority will vote medusa (because its "cool")

Hey, my voting is 100% determined according to coolness  That's why I voted for sun does and manticores, although with the later, people are baffled by the gentry lifestyle of the refined manticore.

Was medusa that popular?
I was shocked to see the dungeon line up part 1.
Seriously, I had no idea that face would get that many votes.
I am so shocked and just want to ask a question to people who support faces.
Was medusa that popular? I mean do people want medusa so badly to actually vote for the seemingly worst line up?
As for me, I like medusa too, but I didn't see medusa from H3 that attrative..Although the one from H4 was quite impressive in terms of its ability. Based on the creature descriptions, Medusa for H7 didn't seem like to resemble Medusa from H4 in terms of ability.
I am so curious... what made you guys to vote for face?
Was there other reason than medusa alone?
(***Let's not talk about troglodyte since they were also present in the shields line up)
I honestly can't see a good reason for voting this line up other than medsua being included as one of the creatures.
On the other hand, I think there are strong reasons to not vote faces.
1. Two similar lame dark elves. Assasin and stalker. Wow... weren't basically they the same unit just different upgraded version of scout in H5?
2. Horrible construct strider. I think I don't even need to mention this since it's so awful. A construct for dungeon...wow....
(And they don't even have faceless in this line up when they are the one supposed to controlling for them)
I am disappointed that shield lost, but I am even more shocked at the fact that faces had such high percentage of votes.
I am definitely going to vote for blades now..
At least they don't have strider and seem to have more intersting line up overall..

Well going by the Ubi site discussions, yes Medusa's are very popular. Medusa and trogs. Lots of talk about swapping Medusa's for the bizarre Bambi Unicorn mullarkey.

I agree that the composition of unit types in Faces seems much better than Blades, so in that respect I'm not too worried if Faces turns out to be the winner, in spite of my despise of the Strider. I could have wished for the Evil Eye instead of the dark-elf Stalker, and obviously either Manticore or Faceless instead of Strider, but oh well ...

Lack of flyers in core and elite is a big downside of faces for me as it almost forces you to pick dragons over hydra 100% of times, which is quite disappointing and bad design IMO.
That and the lurkers made shield my favourite by far. In any case I'll still vote faces over blade.
