Haven Lineup and Changes in Naming

Hi guys. So, I know we already have Haven lineup but it's not set in stone yet, right? I haven't been as involved in the development of previous installments in Heroes before but I heard nothing is set in stone unless they're deployed?

So Haven lineup is already good but it could be better. Here's my proposal:

This Haven isn’t drowned in armor so expect less armor from this Haven.

Core
1. Sentinel /Guardian – not covered in armor, these men, the Sentinels are the most basic units of the Wolf Duchy. They are strong, sturdy melee units with pikes for weapon and has large shields to cover incoming range attacks enough for both Sentinels and allies around them to take cover.  If enemies are close, he can shield a chosen adjacent friendly unit at the cost of his own safety. Melee, Foot, Walker

2. Bowman/Longbowman – again, not covered in armor, Bowman and Longbowman ]can fire a very strong arrow. His shots are so strong that it has a chance to knock opponents back to one tile. His range is as long as the whole area of battlefield. Range, Foot, Walker

3. Griffin/Majestic Griffn – Borrowed creatures from the Griffin Duchy, Griffins are now used to Wolf men fighting alongside them. Griffins can battle dive while Majestic Griffins has the ability to attack any unfriendly stack adjacent to them who suffers from retaliation damage. Due to their weak defense and low hp, working in synergy with Sentinels and Guardians would be your best interest. Melee, Mounted, Flier

Elite
4. Cavalier/Cataphract – Men of the Sentinels who mastered the arts of horseback riding trains to become Cavaliers. Cavalier’s charge is so strong that he gives tremendous damage to the target. Cataphracts can stun opponents who suffer from the charge. The charge will only take effect if the Cavalier’s target is at least 4 tiles away from him. Melee, Mounted, Walker

5. Werewolf/Lycanthrope – Seventeen years ago, Duke Barus discovered a tribe of humans who has the ability to become werewolves. Some, controllably. These werewolves are outcasts and have been long forgotten, until Duke Barus discovered them of course. The cunning Duke decided to use these werewolves as weapons. In exchange for coexisting with humans and be treated like regular Wolf Duchy soldiers, Werewolves and Lycanthropes serve the battlefield.
Werewolves and Lycanthropes has the unlimited retaliation. They are strong as humans and significantly stronger when in werewolf form. There is no telling when werewolves will shapeshift but Lycanthropes can control it. In werewolf form, they can scale through obstacles even walls during siege. Melee, sort of flier but most of the time, foot, walker

6. Priest/Bishop – Priests and Bishops are the purest men who serves Elrath. They are not covered in armor and they have a variety of buffs. Priests can strengthen their allies. Bishops can cleanse their allies from curses and has range retaliation. range, foot, walker, magical attacks

Champion
7. Seraph/Celestial – The presence of a Seraph increases magical defense of allies around him. When he turns to Celestial, he can resurrect allies. Melee, Foot, Flier

8. Nephilim/Gibborim – If you prefer warrior-style over support, you’ll choose Nephilims over Seraphs. Nephilims and Gibborims are sons of an angel father and a human mother. Because of this, they harbor super human strength in human form. Nephilims has the ability to retaliate if their target retaliates. This means they work in synergy with Majestic Griffins.  Gibborims are so strong that any opponent adjacent to their target will suffer 10% damage when they attack. Melee, Foot, Walker

They have already designed units, names, abilities and their 3D models so there won't make anything new concerning Haven. Besides, this lineup is a really good one.

Not willing to lose wolves for out-or-tier gryphons, really can't see werewolves as working in Haven (the 'wolves' are actually dogs bred for ferocity rather than actual wolves), and two angelic units is one too many.

In a way you could already say the Seraphs are already "Nephilims"

I thank the devs for not making us have this line-up. I would faint out of boredom even during the campaign.

it's still much better than a lineup with Justicars though. You have to at least admit that.

i know, right? it's like the most interesting and fresh addition to the faction i a loooooong time. seriously, the last time haven had anything fresh and new must've been the angels in h3. justicars are just so nice, especially compared to warewolves, i mean seriously? If you want wolfmen, go campaign for wulvers in fortress. a much better idea that could potentially fit.

The reason I didn't like this line up was because of that, actually. The most interesting unit, Justicar, is gone. And the most boring-ever Haven unit, Griffins, are back.

Haven is set in stone now. We will have that brilliant female unit. No imaginary new line-up you do will change that. Sorry for the bad news.

Werewolves in Haven? That's one place they definitely don't belong. For that matter, I don't think wolves of any kind belong in Haven.

Ubi's current lineup is mostly fine, though. In addition to removing wolves, I'd prefer to see Landsknechts replaced by H2-style Paladins, but other than that, it's good.

I agree werewolves do not belong in haven. To be honest I am unsure any town would even suit it.

@Nocturnal
So, the only reason you like Justicars is because they're female?

@mvassilev
not with a good enough explanation. Lores can be bended you know. Keep in mind that the Wolf Duchy is more of a barbaric part of Haven.

@Gryphs
and samy reason why tree-burning Phoenixes don't belong in Sylvan. With good enough explanation, they can be part of a certain faction as long as it doesn't stray too much.

H7 Haven will definetly challenge for the 'best Haven of the series' award. No need for any change imo.

just as long as they replace those horrid Justicars with Griffins.
We need our Griffins back!
