And VCMI  is free, and WOG is free. What's the reason of your saying?
Still got to face the fact that HotA's graphics are made for the game, not ripped from some other company's title like with WoG and VCMI.

Can you enlighten me, from where VCMI ripped graphics?

And by the way, VCMI was written from scratch based on FizMig etc.
HOTA reverse-engeneered and extended functionality of 3DO exe file and libraries, which is illegal in most countries.
VCMI requires officially bought HMM3 distribution to play.

From Hota, if we mention the dynamic castle looks on the adventure maps depending on the fort level.

If we speak about mods on Vcmi... Well yeah, that's the case. By the way, it's you who made VCMI such a bad advertisement Not everyone understands that vcmi is just a platform while the discussed content is being scattered between dozens of mods.

I may have misspoken with VCMI, I mistook the fact that you used some WoG buildings (dwellings for Lava Sharpshooter, Sorceress and Hell Steed, plus both Vampire banks and the Hunting Lodge), to mean you used all of them, some of which definitely were ripped from other games (Cossacks: European Wars mainly).

So does HotA, if you bothered to read it:

So, HotA is to be installed on top of clean Heroes III: SoD or Complete edition.

But practically HOTA distributes version with all original HMM3 files included "officially".

WoG is now just another mod for VCMI and not essential part of it. Graphics are also not essential parts, so feel free to make new ones

Using google translator here, so I'm not quite sure I got it all right, is that only the Russian version which has the files, or does it apply to the English version too?

Both Russian and English versions.
PS In Russia this is illegal too, as I think.

Hota does not provide the pirated game. It's the torrent users who do.

This is not so.
Don't know is it legal to post direct links to their distributions.
You can go to forum.df2.ru
http://forum.df2.ru/index.php?showforum=90
There you can find "full" versions in sticked thread for last HOTA version.

In Europe/US a top video game costs 2 hours of work max. In Russia and other satellite countries it costs 2 weeks, for a normal salary. So is not entirely a moral question, but depends on the snow hole you live in.

You already went on about this same deal in the official HotA thread, Macron1, if I remember correctly. You probably said it a multitude of times already. It seems to me that you're just chanting this from the ever same Macron-bible like some kind of obsessed religious person. Sorry to sound so harsh, though.

The way I see it, 3DO is long dead, and personally, I feel this makes it hard to give the company that actually made this game my money for it, you know. I did own a original copy at some point, although it has been long lost.

The fun is that we russians actually bought pirate disks because we didn't have the official versions in stores. Thus we learned about a lot of games, and unfortunately, it's easier to keep the games with mods together, because we are just tired to explain to the retards who are banned in google where to get the game. I don't provide the link though, because my mod is in English.

I personally think that the new town sprites for the advanture map are not that great. They just dont look high quality, sans the cove one. Maybe make them by using the current overworld sprite? Keep the vanilla one for the castles, than just remove parts of it for the citadel and remove some more for the fort. Currently it looks very out of place.
Also, bring back cavaliers being turned into champions when you visit a stable.

In Russia Heroes 3 licensed disk costs less than 2 dollars.

Sad but true...

Also I want to add that such services as Steam and Origin are game killers for me. I want to be the owner of a game I bought. I want to be able to install the game I bought on any computer I own from my physical copy without a problem, I want to be able to download patches as files and update a game when I want to, and to play a game with patches I want.

I'm ready to buy games even for $99.99 if they won't have any kind of sh*tty DRM. It's sad how many people nowadays so easily agree to abandon their freedoms and willingly support such services as Steam or Origin.

Change creature name, Haspid to Leviathan.
We got Behemoth already, why not include another one from the Three Great Beasts?

Oh, come on, Nik, don't be so sad,...
You'd better know some suggestions from other peoples to make HotA more interesting. For example the water learning stone could really be enjoyable: there are way more water objects than before, and this learning stone could make the peoples enjoy when meeting a learning stone in the water. Also my suggestions:

1.Phoenix4Ever's Phoenix Wings/Phoenix Feathers (among with first slayer spell)
Well, it is a relic artifact that... Well,... When your enemy troops attack, and strike first, the stack that you use this spell on is allowed to hit first. For example Phoenix attacks, and when he moves beside you, you could hit him.

2.The chest edit mod (Allows you to put more experience/gold or add artifacts into that chest. It would be more enjoyable than the Pandora's Box, at least for me.)

3.The Enemy Ship (Well, imagine that you don't want to use Derelict Ships, or Shipwrecks, because the guards are simply set. Let's say that you want to add a different reward, and guards)...
So, all am I saying is that... You know those boats that could be put into water ? How's about another one that should look like an abandoned ship (still floating on sea) that could be customized with Heroes (in the prison type), or that could have rewards (also NEEDED to edit the guards, or add guards)
