So, all am I saying is that... You know those boats that could be put into water ? They did discuss this idea somehow actually.
There were some mockups (or real screenshots) showing tiny island and buildings accomodating neutrals on Sea terrain on df2 one year or so ago.

Hello,

I have HotA and i try to do new maps for solo and multiplayers.

Look my creations here :

I really like HotA Mapeditor, with all the new objects.

I've checked, many HotA maps and i've found some new very fun animated objets like "Fire" and "Waterfalls".
But they don't appear in the librairy of the HotA's Mapeditor.

1) How did the "map autors" integrated this objects on the maps ?

2) How can I insert them in my librairy ?

3) How can I insert an image from my desktop, to show you ?

The reason for the missing objects not being available is stated by a HotA member in the thread as well. If you wish to use them you could always copy the objects from the maps containing them and paste them in your own map. It's a little unpractical but it's all you can do for the moment.

I would like to see the following: Make 'surrounded' battle an option in editor (like you fight imp caches) could either be done via events or special garrison type?

I've made a junk map, where I've copied all these new tilsets and I copy/paste, but it is not really cool...

Just use an image uploading site and put the link between [ img] and [ /img] excluding the spaces.

Change Thunar's or Erdamon's starting skills, because these heroes are practically the same.
I suggest changing Erdamon's set of skills since, Thunar's biography mentions estates and tactics.

In the map 'challenge' (if i recall correctly) there is a maze (minotaur dwelling) which functions as a one way portal. I'd suggest this as a feature in the map editor assuming it ain't possible yet (couldn't find it at least )

That's like in the campaign map where you have to find the horn of the abyss there's a quest guard in the form of a Sea Serpent. I suppose all that's been done via hex editing.

It's pretty easy to do it in WoG, no scripts required.

They could add Grayface wog editor patch. As it is not erm based, I think it could work with hota and let mapmaker edit the type/subtype of any object. Better maps.

Would it really work with HotA's own map editor though? Their .h3m is different from the original game's .h3m as well.

There is an external dll for HotA's map editor, that implements most of grayface features. Replacing object appearance though is not provided.
