The only thing that is worth is HD portraits, imo  And you can get that without the game

-people who do it in the spare time
-they work for free and don't charge money at all
-they make it from scratch
-don't complain they don't have the source code and reverse-engineering the s*** out of the game
-adds new content
-fixes a lot of bugs and graphical imperfections
Second Picture:
-professionals working for a multinational company
-they charge 15$ per game and are actually paid
-they draw along outlines like some kindergarten kids
-complain that they can't "find" the source code
-extracts new content out of the game
-adds graphical imperfections
-don't even bother to fix any bug

Are my eyes spoiled by the more recent sequels, or the game runs insufferably sluggish?
Animations, especially on adventure map, feel very low in fps.

All the criticism is fair and it could have been so much better. But I simply like playing H3 on the iPad very very much, so, I'm still happy they did this.
Btw, there is absolutely no modification or bug fix at all. Even the moat not giving additional damage is the same as original RoE. And after getting used to all the convenient mods from Era, the game feels much harder now.

- No expansions, which means no support for Hota and others
- Limited number of maps
- Fps is snowty
- bugs everywhere
- costs money
- multiplayer is full of cheaters
Yeah, I feel robbed. They have absolutely no excuse for this atrocity.

I believe it is good that they have started the project.
But definitely, they have to fix the bugs.

Bought the game but yes, they should've spent a year more with it and release with all fixes and expansions.

I heard it was the case of Rayman hoodlums havoc HD too. the HD version had more glitches than the original, and in some cases, the last world wouldn't even load
(damn, that's an ubisoft game again)

For the PC it's highway robbery, but for my iPad it's just the best game ever made finally on mobile. Especially because 99.99% of all other mobile games are just crap.
Love Homm 3 HD so far!

Maybe my old eyes are not adapted to modern reality but strems of Ubi HD look worst then the original (plus bugs and all other downgrades).

thanks Artu, I will give it a try. I tested ~50-60 games on IOS and Android and 90% of thise stopped being fun after the first 2-3 hours. I hope KD is way better than Fieldrunners (the only TD game I tested).
But seriously guys.. It's Homm3. 1:1 on mobile. How can you not get excited by this? Am I the only one here who loves the original game with all it's flaws?

Surely not, I am excited too when hearing about H3. To come home, sit down in front of computer and have a game. But, personally, I find that all people in public places spending their time their nose in mobile to play games look like pure idiots.
