Also good! I don't need explain to my..that it's nomand. You know the thirst duration but he will be Heroes way than the mod. Now the Oasis is like new - always be nice to play..

Wow, this is one beautiful looking town. After HotA's cove, this one is the only fanmade town that meets 3DO quality standards.

Great work, please keep doing this town. Can't wait to play it.

Yes, my town in terms of graphics is also under Bastion for now in my opinion.

Project will be further developed. For now I am trying to get some help from professionals to make it even better. I did this in half a year, so the changes won't come that fast, but I will make sure it will be worth waiting.

Another concept of fort/citadel/castle on adventure map

Indeed however that town is not complete...

If you will cancel work by some problems, it will be disaster. Maybe share only townscreen for now, like version 0.1? Forge Team made so, so community already has some Forge version. You make it in VCMI, right?

I know that some people would like to have uncompleted work, but I think that there is no point in publicating hardly unfinished work.
As for me getting struck by lighting, there are some people who have my works so far and permission to develop it further if I abandon project, so don't worry it won't dissapear.

As for Hota, yes it's true I am cooperating with HoTa crew, but I wouldn't say I am part of a team. It's too early to say that I have big contribution in Hota, just as they don't have with oasis.

As for Oasis I am doing some works myself, but as I said earlier, it's not easy to do it on your own.

Here is a prototype for new background, and some WIP texturing for 7th creature: lamassu.



As for background: I am making it more green because I am helping with first frankenstein bastion project which actually have a possibility to come true, that's why I had to distinguish it a bit more. It's still a work in progress.

Just usual plane with water material and wave modifier. What is difficult here is a making water react to environment (reflections)
3D software is blender.

There are some waterfalls in background as well which I can't get right. That one is more difficult. You will need modifiers: wave/displace and often it's not enough, so you have to use good texture and do some magic in texture offset with keyframes.

Overall not easy but effect is worth it.

Color cycling is workable only when we speak about pixel art and limited amount of colors. It was a resource-saving technique for older pixel-styled games which allowed storing one frame instead of many.

This is great work! The 2nd town screen you recently posted seems to me like 100% 3DO work! I also like the overworld town! That statute for sure seems interesting (and also pretty authentic), do you know it's effects already?
