I hope that if the naga return their spell caster is male (like the Lord of dragons or lirones guy) and the Kensei is female as it should be

To be honest. I did not like the sanctuary faction from H6. So I wouldn't mind if they didn't come back.

Expect them to be in the near future. Most people did like them. And as one of the core 9 Factions, they will pop their snake-like heads round the door sooner rather than later.

Yeah, I believe you are right actually. But oh well, I have to live with it then.

If only there were no Frogs, no sharks, no weird water spirits ..

I don't see anything wrong with the Water-theme, I believe problem is Ashanian design.

The issue might just be that I overall didn't like the creature designs in HoMM6. So sorry.. :/ And I cannot myself come up with a better line-up in what they did soooo... yeah. I will mind my own business

Neither do I. I wish for a more NWC approach. Imagine Kappa, Shark and Yuki-Onna designed by Tracy Iwata I bet you will like Sanctuary.

yeah... Kappa...

From official Japanese mythology, on Kappa:

..."Although modern kappa are often portrayed as cute and mostly harmless, during the Edo period they were monsters who had a particularly vicious method of killing their victims. In probably one of the strangest bits of Japanese folklore, it is said that human beings have something in their body called a shirikodama, which translates literally as "small anus ball." The ball is nestled either immediately inside the anus, or deeper inside the intestines or the stomach. The kappa have a preferred method of extraction"...

Zombi, you may want to simply link to that picture. It may, due to nudity and other things, be in breach of the CoC.

I don't agree with many things in the CoC. However, I'd want to prevent Zombi from suffering the consequences of breaching it.

Tank you, War-overlord for reminding me ... I didn't see the problem personaly, since those kind of pictures, and indeed many even more "graphic" are very common in mythology ... but you are right, I decided to not take chances and edited.

Frankly it's silly tho. In ancient times people seem to have been much more confortable whith this kind of things, than they are now ... Just look at ancient greek immages of Pan for example - I would expect in our advanced and progressive age, with freedom of expresion etc., to be allowed to be even more open,  but the oposite is true... like I said silly indeed.

In a future game I'd love to feature the Shanriya Nagas (the "Tibetan" Nagas seen in Duel of Champions). And I'd love to bring back Lizardmen as well (after all, they do exist in Ashan as one of the Beastmen races).
