I am getting the vague impression that you like birds - but I could be wrong .

I do , but on the other hand i love all animals so...

This just caught my eye because for some reason i have never thought about pet birds having eggs... Now im just thinking about kiryu133 having some tiny bird eggs at home and that need looking after and all that... it must be so exciting having them there and all the hatching and little birds running around learning to sign and who knows what else will happen...

I just realized a whole new world in pet bird keeping So cool kiryu133!! Keeps us updated and dont forget to take photos of the eggs and especially of the little things that crawl out of them

You seem to assume that there is a male bird involved... My only experience with 'pet' bird is with chickens, but they certainly don't need a male in order to lay eggs. It's like bird menses

So the question is, was there a male involved?

nope, no male involved so the eggs were unfertilized and thrown in the trash since her mood completely changed and laying too many eggs can be dangerous. i'll tell the story in the pet thread some time soon

with potential pictures!

You are correct! Chickens dont need roosters to lay eggs, but without roosters the eggs wont be fertilized.

I base my assumption of the male bird being involved in this case on the following details listed below:
-if they were chicken i think kiryu133 would not have used the word "bird" when describing them
-if they were unfertilized chicken eggs i dont think it would have been worth emphasizing it in the post
-having chicken lay eggs is not that uncommon and its kinda expected, so i doubt it would have captured kiryu133's imagination and spurred this Naga thread

But its not 100% sure that this is the case so...

kiryu133!! Please tell us all you possibly can about this and show us tons of photos!

I might be more excited about this than the current necropolis creature vote

Yeah... i think i understand what you mean.

Its just that i almost got pretty excited about getting an awesome "bird egg hatching, waiting and new tiny birds" - thingy to look forward to. Would have been a nice side quest while waiting H7 :/

And is there a pet thread somewhere?! And why have i not been informed of this before...

Nagas have breasts in order to boost sales and keep the franchise alive. It's an evolutionary meta-game survival mechanism.

Nobody thought nagas are actually mammals? I mean, the regular ones and those from the good ol' HoMM games looked more human than snake-ish, so why wouldn't they be predominantly human rather than snake? A snake would surely think they are more human than snake. And if you think about it, their organs can still be in a similar place as a human's. And snakes don't have human skin etc., for those who will say that nagas have snake tails and that's why their reproduction is done just like a snake's.

It's also the more logical answer, since then all anatomical parts fit in, as I said before (and as other members debated).

In my opinion, nagas work if they're "humans" with snake tail instead of legs (maybe the excretory system needs to be placed somewhere else a little, but I think it can still say at the same place Edit: They actually have a butt). You can add 4 more arms too, together with larger ribs and stronger bones and muscles.

Now, if we're talking about beholders or any kind of such beasts... That's a problem.

Beholder was the creation of the mad formerly-Warlock called Agar, who became a lich later on (mind->brain; is it a pun?).

I totally agree with everything in your comment.

Do Nagas have cloacae or v**inas? Snow with them might prove quite unconventional if the former is true, though frankly any interaction with a multi-handed snakewoman is bound to be abnormal and most likely just a manifestation of reckless drug abuse.

@CountBezuhoff

Well, it's understandable what I meant when I said only the legs are replaced by tail... I doubt I need to give examples (photos)...

I wouldn't worry about their possibility and ease of reproduction, though. After all, they're snake-women.

Naga Queen artwork (updated to higher scale)

(Should I include this image in a link though, even if it's some regular artwork? I mean, some might take it wrong, since it's probably just the continuation of the tail's middle line ...) Well, whatever, made it a link.

I agree with the fantasy part at least.

Edit: One more proof that nagas are basically humans that just have a tail instead of legs and 4 more arms (also other skin color):

They have a butt. At least in the original universe of MM.

Edit: Also, in Ashan, since all so-called races were based-off humans, like elves, dwarves, etc., nagas could be the same.
