I double checked maps folder location, and its in the right place.
Also game and mod installed properly.
Can it be because we are using Windows 10 64 bit?

Actually what is the exact error that you get?
Could you post some screens?

Windows 10 may cause some issues with administrative rights.
Make sure both of you launch the game with right click -> Run as administrator.

There is a way to make this permanent launch from the properties of the icon -> Compatibility -> Run this program as administrator

Alright this is a known issue.
RMG error means  that the map does not have scripts activated.
You already said it is done this means mapmixer have issues with access privileges and cannot patch the map.

try this guide to create a new map or just use the step that regards Scripts activation through the editor.

Once done, save the map and send it to your friend. It should work.

The 5.5 skill wheel seems to be blocked by my taskbar. Any ideas on how to make it fullscreen or make the taskbar stop blocking the bottom?

I guess you are using laptop on 1360x768 resolution.
Currently there is no way to do this .

I may add a way to toggle between small and large mode but no promises for the moment.

Is it possible to change the skills offered in a level-up by saving and loading before one in case the skills and abilities offered when you do so are not the ones you want?

For example, for Combat I am planning on getting Chain Attack after getting Martial Arts and Retaliation Strike as I can tell from the manual that it is not locked. But the abilities offered at level up are always Avenging Strike and another ability I wasn't planning on getting.

It keeps happening during levels 12-18 so is it possible to save-scum your way into getting the build you are after?

I think at least in heroes 5 3.1 level-ups are always the same UNLESS you take another skill, then they change.

Is being the town governor permanently locked at a single hero of choice?

Is there anyway to change Governor or simply leave the town in question without one?

Tried to change governor but was locked, kept saying that the town already had one. Which was why I was precisely trying to change it.  Can't have it cutting down on my main explorer's movement points.

A governor can resign (the same way as inauguration), and he or she must resign before you can assign another. There's a fee to resign, which decreases in time, in the first month of inauguration; this is for the player to take the institution more seriously.

actually the fee is to prevent the main hero from activating it for one day to defend the town against the enemy main hero.

Temple of Shalassa

Some sets of artifacts have a reward for collecting them all, but you have to bring them to a particular place. While i do know how Trading Post or Sacrificial Altar looks like i have no idea what is Temple of Shalassa required for Death's Embrace artifacts reward for instance. Can anyone describe what is this Temple and how does it look like?

Hello again!
Now something new is happened with my game!
I create ARMG map with MMH55_Editor_64, add script, but when we start the game only my main hero have Town Managment spell, witch huts dont work properly (i cant choose to learn or not provided skill), Windmills didnt provide to sign contract.

SOLVED: it was because we are using GHOST MODE...

@boozuka - I think it is this one (copy the link in browser) what you are looking for.

@Zelan, glad you found a solution! I never used this option.

@Magno, do you think there is something from ghost mode MMH55 can benefit from? As the idea itself is not working properly some of the skills may be used for something.

After reading the article shared above I assume this is where you picked "Haunted mines" skill from?
Something also tells me that this is what Quantomas may have used to make enemy heroes in PvE.

During the Necropolis Campaign Map 3, the artefact didn't drop when I conquered Ziyad, but it worked for the other town though. Do I have to let the AI retake the town? What happened? Don't tell me I have to reset the map...

I don't really know what is supposed to happen, but I guess since the issue wasn't reported before, the script engine crashed because of some weird performance issue.

Since the map contains the following script function maybe you can try type

@GiveStaffOfVexings("Berein")

in the console.

How do I do so? Will this count as a cheat by the CPU? I take it that it was supposed to be called the "Staff of Vexings" before it was changed to "Staff of the Netherworld" along with "Berein" to "Ziyad" in the original?
