Come on, you can give daily movement points with the script by checking whether the sandals of prophet is worn at the start of the day.

Currently experiencing a CTD in a fight whenever the enemy hero Erika is first about to act (RC13). Various creatures on her side act before that w/o problem. Not sure what she's about to do - she has a full army to play with and probably knows plenty of shouts. Any ideas how I can check up on the specifics of this issue?

I don't see anything in there that addresses this problem? The crash happens in combat when the hero is about to act (not on the adventure map) - so it's not the artifact merchant. Oh, I'm also on Win7, so not DEP either. Did you have something different in mind?

If you did install the mod properly then you may have to disable DEP even on windows 7

Has anybody ever thought to add fan-made campaigns, maybe not as fancy as lota but something similar, to go with this mod? Not necessarily part of the mod itself but like a sister project? It could have quests and characters that are designed to explore the new classes and mechanics this mod brings.

I don't know if anybody thought of doing that but I know for sure if they did, they stopped short of doing it because of the time investment in mapmaking and campaign design. I don't blame them. A good campaign with multiple maps means a ton of work hours.

I wish one thing though: I wish LoTA makers would also work on an MMH5.5-compatible version, to be shipped with MMH5.5. Now, that I can see being done in a way more reasonable amount of time...

First thing on my mind when I have some good free time... Someone with actual mapmaking experience would be a better fit though...

Hmm - no dice with that :/  Oh well, I stripped her down to one goblin via console, murdered her before she could act, and added all her creatures to another hero of the same faction. I'm sure he was happy...

@Thgryphn: afaik there is no mapmaking involved, just going over all scripts and fix any compatibility issues + adding it to the user campaign menu and replace portraits with h55 versions.

What are people's opinion on "additional units will be available to recruit each week" type of heroes.
They sound so under-power that I never use them.
Please share your experience about using them. I'm going to try one now.

agreed on that - i never use them either, have never seen anyone use them and i m not planning on using them either.
I m not sure why the lower tier growth heroes get them for free into his armies while the others only get growth to towns. Sure higher tier units are stronger, but the extra units should be dependent on the powervalue anyway, so it shouldnt make much of a diffrence.
I feel like weekly growth is used as a determinant for how many extra units are gained instead of powervalue, in which case the higher tiers would indeed be in an advantage if you were to give them the extra units for free, as a weekly growth of a high tier is more powerful than a weekly growth of a low tier.
I d make it dependent on power value and give free units for all tiers.

I'm not interested in opinions based on something 'sounds' under powered, so I never use them so I never find out they are actually useful. There is no reason to change something based on uninformed prejudices.

I have a question about Bertrand (Haven hero, Renegade). He is the only Renegade who doesnt start with a Dark Magic, and i wonder if there is a way for him to learn it? I tried it in a game but i couldnt get it while leveling - i only got Scatter Dark Magic. I dont know if it was intended for a Renegade to dont have a Dark Magic, just wanted to know.

PS: I play on the newest version (RC13)

Like the development

A question in relation to this though

-All heroes that boost A&D of weak tiers also get a growth bonus at half strength (so 2 creature specs in one), this affects Darkstorm,Laszlo,Razzak,Ellaine and Orson

Is there a reason why some heroes ie. Vayshan (Assassin class) who would be eligible for the growth boost bonus didn't get it?

map mixer problem

After updated the latest mod version, doesn't work in one of my PC's.
It stops and says:

PermissionError: [WinError 5] access denied to: '.tempMapFolder6541351'
