No it's not, it is a bug, it will only work for gatekeeper and maybe warlock. The only fix is removing the artifact entirely, but it is voice-acted in campaign and scenario missions so I probably have to ignore its existence

Hello, just nipping in to

a) express appreciation for this great mod; it has really re-invigorated my enjoyment of the game. The ARMG is The Sh!t.

b) note somehting that strikes me as a possible candidate for balancing improvement: it feels as if Imbued Arrow has been nerfed into pointlessness by the skill restrictions. The Ranger is the only class who can even get it, and that class can't learn any school of magic that is useful for imbuing. There are no suitable spells in Light, and everything else will have to be unskilled level 1/2. - The entire Favoured Enemy thing is very much on the weak side anyway, why not give the one potentially interesting skill of the set a bit of help? Doesn't need to be Dark or Destructive, Summoning would do the trick (bees or Firewall are very satisfactory when imbued). Just an idea.

It won't be possible to fix it, but is it possible to make Pendant of Mastery allows to get the 4th secondary skill for all heroes?
It's very interesting option.

It is kinda broken for Warlocks, as it allows to pick Dark Ritual/Consume Corpse AND Rage of Elements, when the original structure of a tree suggests OR scenario. Moreover, it's better to pick Dark Ritual/Consume Corpse early and then equip Medallion later on.

Tbh, it was quite a letdown to find out Druids don't have access to Imbue Ballista, even though their entire skill tree has a great synergy with it: Caster's Luck(Luck)+ Spirit Link (Dark Magic) + Intelligence (Enlightenment) + Mark of the Sorcerer (Sorcery) + Destruction Magic + Occultism. On top of that, High Druids work pretty well with Druid's high Knowledge gains.
Imbue Ballista instead of Triple Ballista please?

I'm glad to hear RC7a is well received.

@Mario: if that was possible i would already have fixed it that way.

@floyt: it is delibaretly balanced this way because imbue ballista is overpowered with skilled spells, unless you need to sacrifice an artifact slot which is what you need to do to get what you want.

druids + imbue ballista is tremendously overpowered

@strigvir: warlock is not broken, the branching remains the same regardless of the artifact, it is not a balance problem either since you can can only pick a perk roughly worth 2 SP and you get 4 less Spellpower compared to other classes.

I dare not imagine what destructive power the druids would have with imbued ballista and high druid bonus At the same time time triple imbued ballista with exp destructive is a guilty pleasure so it's kind of a pity. I have a feeling that nival did not consider that combination when introducing the high druids.

I think that rangers should have the option to learn destructive though, even if druids cannot use that combo. Higher gameplay variety.

I have no idea why but I cannot uninstall 1.7 (and so neither install 1.7a). I tried to run uninstaller as admin, restart pc, launch the uninstall directly from the folder and use "uninstall programms" in windows as well. Nothing of this has helped me. Uninstall window did not appear at all (only warning "do you want to allow this programm to do changes in this computer"). I have never had problems with uninstalling H5.5 before.

@elvin: destructive is not even a sylvan faction school in h55, giving it to their heavy might class wouldn't make any sense at all.

@antalyan: if you still have the old Rc7 installer install it again over itself then try to uninstall, otherwise install RC7a over Rc7, after install the game menu version should be 5.57a

Thanks, it helped. Haven past racial does no longer upgrade troops in towns (maybe I have missed this change in the past)?

In hero screen Basic Enlightenment it is written that hero receives +1 to one of this primary stats for ever four levels. In skillwheel Basic Enlightenment it is written that hero receives +1 to one of this primary stats for ever five levels.

Can someone enlighten me about the usefullness of rangers favored enemy skills. I always skip them as they seem weak and very situational. Any tips to make good use of them ?

Not sure if anyone has noticed but I have a certain believe that Fortress are still a bit too powerful. I will upload some replays later.

For example - Flamekeeper with runes + dark is almost unstoppable because 2 of your units are frenzied/Puppeted while his creatures revive and use no retaliation runes and run through the whole battlefield.

Moreover with just 5 units one is unable to deliver good damage to make a good hit against the heavily defended fortress.

True enough, but this seems like a problem that applies to Frenzy/Puppeting in general, and it's just worse with Fortress.
