Hey,

I've been playing Necropolis recently on newest beta. I noticed Vidomina (if i recall correctly, the one with Liches specialty) is supposed to be a nethermage, but the skills I got corresponded to necromancer class (I couldn't obtain Destruction, only Shatter Destruction was available).

you are right, she has wrong class ID, needs to be fixed, doesn't affect other nethermages.

Edit heroes in H5.5

Hello folks,

first of all, I love the mod. Been playing H5 (regular) a couple of years back and a few days ago, I wanted to try it again after all the years and stumple over H5.5. Big work here, and the job well done!

However, a few things regarding the heroes specialization are not exactly to my taste. So I would like to change a few things, small things. However, when I unpack the h5.5data.pak (not sure about the exact name, but it's the data.pak of the mod), I cannot find the required entries. In the "normal" data.pak, they should be found in the RPGstats -> Defaultstats section. However, this one is not in the file.

Is it possible to change the specialization? And if so, where and how would I do that?

Hey there shadeshifter!

Welcome to the forum!

Specializations are in defaultstats and the one you cannot find are hardcodded in the EXE itself.

I know they are there, but as I refer to H5.5, I assumed I had to change them in the dataH55.pak file. Is that not so? Should I change them in the original data.pak file? Or can I extract the defaultstats file from the original data.pak and add them to the dataH55.pak file?

H5.5 added all those specializations that add creatures. I thought they must be somewhere in the dataH55.pak file, but I opend (almost) every single file in it, and could not find any hint regarding any of the specializations.

I am afraid to "overwrite" all the stuff from original H5.5 when I add stuff to the dataH55.pak file.

take specializations from MMH55-Index.pak - defaultstats.

change it, create a new pak and put it back in data folder.
If multiple of the same files exist game will take the one with most recent modified date - thus yours.

unit growth specs are added via LUA scripts found in MMH55-index.pak/scripts folder

The town conversion feature is most annoying.

Nothing is worse than losing your main town, which you can get back in 2 days only to have it converted by the AI (which always has infinite money for this) and then you wont afford converting it back.


I read you can disable it somehow... how does one do that?

open MMH55-Settings.pak with 7zip or something and set it to zero in the lua file

What I usually do is start a screen recording session -> launch the game -> play the combat.

Once it ends, use video editor to add some flavour or cut parts that are not necessary..

What screen recorder do you use? I used filmora and it slowed down entire computer by a lot

I use software that comes with my PC firmware (Lenovo Nerve Sense) I am not sure you can use that.

May be try OBS?

Quick question, quick answer: If I cast Vampirism on a creature, will Raise Dead work like on "normal" undead, or will the raised creatures dissapear after battle like "normal" units would after having Raise Dead cast upon them?

shadeshifter, MMH55 does not change anything in this area so the effect will be the one you see in ToE. I dont know the answer but you can find it through tests.

"-pillager does not give +200 with snatch, stays at +100 movement."
Is it real? PathOfWar_MovePointsBonus remained equal 200. Why so few? Logistics gives about 300 points for every level. I need to fight 3 times every day to get this bonus.

If you fight 2 times you already get more than a logistics level, since you get 100 for the battle for free +100 extra
