Welcome to the community! I strongly suggest to check the F.A.Q. All such peculiarities are answered there.

Straight answer is - Dont worry sets are working. We cant make the set text change due to hardcodded issues.

Original sets were removed and remade with the new way because there is a fundamental bug that allows artifact set bonus to be active when pieces are in hero inventory. Regarding the visual text update of sets:

Hey I want to report that 3 maps preinstalled with H5.5 still don't have scripts activated. The mods tutorials on moddb state that players don't have to activate scripts for maps that already come with the mod. Which is true for all maps except these:

- 2P Gladiator
- 2P Jebus
- 2P Ladder

I checked on RC14b6.

Inferno bug

Hi there. I just started playing the 5.5 mod and it's truly great!

I would just like to report a bug: Whenever I start a new game with the inferno faction the game crashes

Check any of the solutions below

- Do you have any custom maps that you are using (different from MMH55)? Remove them from MAPS folder and try again to check if everything is ok.
- Fully disable windows 10 D.E.P. and try again.
- Stop antivirus and try again.

When I try to generate infinite link (time and people) it still gives the same one as on my profile. I do tested it and it works.

Douglas is a Knight, which in H5.5 means his class skill is defense instead of counterstrike. I'm not sure why he doesn't start with offense anymore, my guess is that it would be a bit awkward thematically since that's the Renegade's class skill.

In MMH5.5, Counterstrike is no more. It's called Combat.
There was a recent shuffling of Haven classes and class skills.

Renegades are now the offensive class that is truly might oriented. Knights are now the defensive class that can make great use of Light magic; they are the "balanced" class.

Combat was moved to Demon Lords. Not only it suits them lore wise, it makes them appropriately competitive.

Haven classes were and still are very competitive. Heretics were difficult to play with but improved in the last update.

What is everyone experience with Necropolis heroes that use Summoning Magic?

On one hand Dark Magic is more attractive to me now because of Raise Dead. On the other hand Summoning Magic comes with crystal blood.
Does this change your preference between DM and SM when playing Necropolis?

Before the last set of changes, SM was heavily preferred over DM, for good reason. Now DM is more useful in general but SM still has its classic goodies. Both are equally viable IMO.

The biggest hit with SM for me is having to rely on mage guild for Firewall.

Mummies are also terrible despite being expensive so going SM for the sake of those dragon blood is kinda not worth it for me.(unless you can summon death knight).
