Got 1 crash of the mod on AI Turn.

Markal Campaign Mission 3. It is normal that each turn visit empty creatures banks? Even original TOE AI don't do that. And is more confident to take action(Attack unprotected castle, clear paths, attack weak heroes)

Agrael Campaign Mission 4 - Erewel is well builded but defender don't buy units to protect castle.

Same situation was in Markal case. Mission 2 Castle Hikm should buy units to protect city from being attacked.

Gone after reloading. Another Bug found, if you see Cyrus who move around, don't kill him. I killed him and proced to mission 4. Result Second Cutscene appear that i killed Cyrus without moving Markal. But i would like stats boosters get from this mission.

Maybe it is fixable?

Great mod, playing it right now. First impression of the ARMG - a bit weak, maps lacking in objects and neutral armies to defeat. The density should be bigger I think. So far I'm liking the balancing.

Minor typo in grave / skeleton descriptions. Should be "the dead are better left in peace" instead of "the death are better left in peace".

i don't understand what the bug part is?

??? The density measured in tiles is already a lot higher than original RMG, as well as most of the default maps. Make sure you read the manual about using the right exe file, experience setting and try set monsters to very strong.

Master of Life states that Necropolis Heroes learn Raise Dead. Don't all Necromancers have Raise Dead from the get go, though?

EDIT: I picked up a seemingly empty 'Treasure Box'. Happened on one of the cards which were included by the mod (H55 - 4P - Ultima).
After I picked it up, it said 'can't take artifact' or something similar
EDIT2: NVM. I edited an artifact (made Bracelets of the Elements a major Artifact) and totally forgot about it. Will try to fix it, if it persists...

i have never seen that before, is it possible to post a screenshot or otherwise make clear which box exactly it is, I would like to check it out.

As I said, that artifact problem was due to me being too forgetful. After I replaced the Artifacts.xdb it works now (well, the treasure Boxes aren't empty anymore ...^^)

Once you start mission 4 with killed Cyrus in previous mission, you atomically pass mission(objective is completed after intro cutscene).

I have a problem or rather problems similar to the one described by zmudziak22. C3M3, AI's turn, Crash. Reloading didn't help. I finally decided to use the @Win() function in the console. Next thing was C3M4, instant win without Markal making any move! Unlike zmudziak22, I hadn't killed Cyrus, in fact I hadn't even laid eyes on him. C3M5 worked as it should.

On to Campaign 4. C4M1 worked alright. I'm know in C4M2 and it crashes again, but every reload lets me get a bit further. However, it gets a little unnerving having to restart the game every few minutes/turns.

It doesn't matter, whether I use the 64 Bit or the 32 Bit version, the result is the same. BTW, I'm running Windows 10, if that should make a difference.

Apart from these problems, MMH 5.5 is awesome. It feels like playing a different game. Really makes you want to replay everything.

Are the crashes in C4M2 during Ai turns or when saving/loading?

The crashes always happen during AI turns.

Unfortunately, I don't. But I will try and get there again and hopefully will be able to reproduce the situation. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

Here is a new file. This one fixes the critical script bugs in C3M3 and C3M4, but probably not the AI crashes. I still don't know about those.

The maps need to be restarted for the changes to take effect

I fully agree that the density of objects should be slightly bigger, especially when I play epic map. Heroes are spending more of their move points wandering with nothing to visit.

Report game crash

Here is a game crash:

Every time when I load the last saved game, when it's AI's turn, game crashes and quits to Desktop.

Any solution?

Hello guys,

here is some info from me.

DENSITY: EPIC MAP + UNDERGROUND density is just as good as it is.
Now you have to calculate when what to fight. Now logistics have its advantages as well. If you want more denser just choose big tempplate on a smaller map. Did it once and everything was very close!


LOADING MAP ISSUES: I think I know what is the problem. I got a deja vu by looking at your screenshot Idonger .

Try the following - delete all save games except the last 3-4.You can also move them out of the same game directory if you want to keep them.

When playing multilpayer i found out that the more save games I had the longer the time it took to save/load and this performance issue increase gradually (at one point save and load took around 5 mins each) after deleting most of the save games everything was running smoothly again (even the game!).

Despite it is not multiplayer just test it. May be this is what cause the crash not the game/map specifications itself.

Let me know whats up.

You can build your own templates and add as much as you like. Here is a nice tool.

I have no problem with loading map, only that after I load that map and after I finish my turn, the AI starts it's turn and game crashes immediately . Anyway I will try your method first.

Well, density should scale according to map size is what I'm thinking. I've tried playing impossible maps + underground + 8p ultima template and I kept wandering more than battling monsters. Now I'm on an extra large + underground + 8p epic template and while the density improved a little, it still feels like the map lacks guarded objects to visit.

Maybe this was not a priority in the design process? I'd like it if someone could explain the philosophy behind it.
