Moonshade's Heroes VIII Neutral Creatures

Here is a list of neutral creatures for my version of HVIII. Neutrals are divided into 3 main groups: Elementals, Affiliated Neutrals (who are not recruitable in towns, but can be combined with their affiliated Faction without a morale penalty) and True Neutrals. Neutrals are unupgradable, but usually more powerful and/or numerous than Faction creatures of the same rank.
So, here they are:

-Elementals-

Elite:

Air Elemental (aka Sylph)
Dark Elemental (aka Shade)
Earth Elemental (aka Rockman)
Fire Elemental (aka Salamander)
Light Elemental (aka Glory)
Water Elemental (aka Undine)

Champion:

Phoenix
Dark Phoenix

-Affiliated Neutrals-

Peasant (Core, Haven):
Brown Bear (Core, Sylvan)
Nomad (Elite, Sanctuary)

Lizardman (Core, Academy)
Mammoth (Elite, Stronghold)

Grim Stalker (Core, Dungeon)
Zombie (Core, Necropolis)
Elder Daemon (Elite, Inferno)

True Neutrals:

Core:

Rogue
(Sea Elf) Corsair
Giant Spider
Journeyman

Elite:

Mermaid
Mercenary
Shantiri Guardian
Wyvern

Champion:

Sphinx
Thunderbird
Kraken

Note: My "true neutrals" feature several "mini-factions". For example, Rogues, Mercenaries & T-birds are associated with the Free Cities of the East, Corsairs, Mermaids & Krakens are creatures of the Ocean (as opposed to the oasis-dwelling Sayama Naga), Journeymen, Guardians & Sphinxes are assoiciated with Shantiri/Blind Brothers while Giant Spiders & Wyverns are just beasts (as Necropolis lost their Spider association).

I really need a summoning post for your ideas

It is especially hard, I feel, to "judge" neutrals without being able to quickly compare to the factions. Especially when only names are given.
I suppose most are reasonable.

A few comments...
...Dark Phoenix...well I am not sure I like it. I think I would like a dark creature that is not jsut  light reversed better.
...Academy-affiliated lizardmen. I do not like that much...it implies no lizardmen-swamp town. And it does not really fit in my eyes. Even if lizardmen may be academy creations, why should they be on their sides if they are not forced to and thus in the lineup?
...What would a Grim Stalker be?
...what is a shantiri guardian?

I like the idea of neutral minifactions. May I ask what impact they would have on the gameplay? Morale bonus if more than one troop fight together? Mini-towns to recruit them all?
