The problem is you can get idenfinitelly large army, but spell power is very limited. There needs to be more ways to boost spells, for example like in TEW IV.

Sandro's got sorcery bonus, but it doesn't do anything despite the correct damage is shown in the spell book, it's capped regardless of sorcery.

Does that mean 5070 is a cap on Armageddon?, cause I can assure you it says 10k+ on my screen. (And still this is per stack)

It says on your screen, but it's capped at 5070. Try using it then look at the combat log.

Interesting, sorcery and orb won't work on armageddon. Is not capped at 5070 (you can have sp 127) but the damage is not the one which displays in book.

Hmm that's strange never heard on a cap on Armageddon or on any spell for that matter. I'll try test it here and see if I also get only 5070 damage...

I also only get 5070 damage and orb does'nt seem to work with Armageddon. I wonder if it's always been like this or if it has anything to do with HD Mod or HotA...

Just tested Implosion does'nt look like there is a cap on that, I was able to do 16193 damage with that.
No not really, I never knew about a cap on Armageddon neither that the orb did'nt affect it. But honestly I have been playing without Armageddon for a long time, so maybe I already knew this, but forgot it again.

Lol indeed, well at least I learned/remembered that even Armageddon has it's limits and it is'nt as dangerous as I thought it could be.

The Armageddon message in battle log contain just wrong info about the damage. Armageddon actually does the damage which is shown in spell description, at least in SoD/HotA.

I can't understand what do you want to show me with these screenshots. I said that the message "Armageddon does 3070 damage." is incorrect and actual damage is different. For this message damage is calculated without fire orb and sorcery beeing taken in account. While there is all right with damage calculation for the spell description and for it actual effect (you may just count how many creatures dead after casting the spell). Maybe WoG has some more bugs here, don't know, I said about SoD/HotA.

The battle tooltip is actually closer to the real result than the hero screen one, 72*55=3960. Armageddon is still capped, but to 5600, not 5070

Sav is right, the damage in battle log is wrong and the one the book displays is right. And no, WoG has no bugs!
Which is a pity, because Phoenix said he learned a thing and actually it was false

The book displays different values in combat and in hero screen. So... which one is right?  And it's still capped
