You need to create AoWI (areas of weather influence) which are similiar to AoC for towns and then its all up to Atmos system.

It will randomly generate weather effects and affects all heroes inside as well as units on battlefields.

If you run out of AoWI or the weather chnages (Fog > Sunny), Atmos will dynamicly react and remove the debuff or apply another accordingly to the weather.

Its just a prototype but so far working fine and I already have 6 weather effects set.

And its mod-friendly so you can add more effects or even expand it!

ok now you need 12 new adventure map spells, 2 levels for each weather effect.  lv 1 permits changing the weather within present aow, and lv 2 allows changing the weather in any visible aow.

just fyi the six weather effects i currently have in the project im working on are:
ice(storm/hail); to which necropolis troops are immune
rain(shower); to which rampart troops are immune
(flash)fire; to which inferno troops are immune
(sand)/wind storm; to which conflux troops are immune
snow(storm); to which tower troops are immune
fog; to which dungeon troops are immune


very cool mod.
whenever i get h7 ill definitely be checking it out

Absolutely gorgeous! As far as know this is the first creature made from scratch for H7. I noticed some video of this work several months ago in AC and I was wondering if it ever see day light. Glad to see it out.
I performed some tests with the provided files. Speechless…

Do we have to point out the obvious? I’m not either eager to work with this crappy H7 editor but still we have to acknowledge other people’s work especially so good work. Those models for H3 are not very detailed of course because H3 doesn’t require high detail considering the resolutions. If you run close render you’re gonna see what I’m talking about.

TBH the plant pixie (or dryad, whatever you call it) was one of the little good artworks of Ubi and the morons didn’t execute it in the game. Anyway now it’s out due to great work of Sundaynights.

I actually prefer the version we got in the game, not that matters since I don't play it.

That's why I went back to Heroes 3 modding (coincidentally I'm working on a new town screen too)

Anyway, nice townscreen, it certainly breaks the boring construction of h7 ts which were all build up by the same formula (i.e a hill with town hall on the top, same perspective, more or less the same building position)

Wasn't the editor supposed to be one of the big pluses of the game? How come it's so shoddy as you say?

Actualy it is a plus (as long as you stay in the basic mode).

But I decided to go beyond the "safety line" and thus having fun with unreal mode And once you get used to the Limbic-O-Mess-O-Rama you can spend hours (my record is 8+) copying/pasting/changing/importing/whatevering without single crash

I am having some laughts from time to time when I dig deep inside the code/archetypes of Limbic where they put notes like: "whats this? and why we have it here?"

The biggest advantage of the editor is the amount of things you can do with it, at least theoretically.

very well done on that town screen mate, you certainly did a great job of replicating the style of Heroes 7, (that's not an insult that's a big compliment even if I think the H7 style is ****) lol

do you have a big team or what, how are you putting that art together lol

Thanks! We tried to keep the "soul" of handmade 2D screens but without that strange perspective.

i'm creating some custom heroes for haven by replacing stuff of old ones atm... i also give em new Pictures, f.e i gave orna an edited angel artwork instead of the lazy regular female Magic hero one, Looks much better (: i would like to share it at some point, what is the best way to do it?

i usually create new packages with my Content and save em under documents/my games/cooked pc, then i just link the Content to the game data without replacing old data, what is the difference between saving packages here and where the game itself is installed?

it the my games Folder some sort of Auto override?

and anyone know what the Options u can select for AI heroes actually do?

i would like to bring back the female celestial model, even if it is only for the Adventure map hero, i know there are is the model somewhere, how difficult would it be to add her to the game, u think i could do it if i do some Research? i would Need to do some animations i guess? is is very difficult to do that? or possible, i dont mind if it takes some time, im just not sure if i can make it without much Knowledge
