Do you guys know something about this H3 addon?
I was browsing through Amazon.de and found this addon for HOMM 3 by the name "Mighty Heroes III" .
I guess it was only released in germany at least I didn't found nothing about it on the internet.

As you see on the frontcover its suppose to include over 350 new single & multiplayer maps, cheats and even a trainer to edit your heroes stats.
I was lucky to get me a used copy for around 5€ to test it out.
On the back it translates:
" A total of 364 data's (including maps) for Heroes of Might and Magic 3"
" You are stuck in a level? "
" Do you already memorized all of the H3 maps? "
" Do you want to lend yourself a hand by changing your heroes stats?"
I made scans of the box and cd.

As you can read on the backbox "the game is not official supported by 3DO" which is written in german. Its a fanmade maps addon.

I've never heard of this package before and neither can I find anything about it on the internet after some searching. It seems to be a relatively local distribution of some fan-based material. I doubt it was officially supported or even validated by 3DO/NWC as a legit Heroes 3 product.

And you can have my TRAINER for free and it does 1000 more things than just edit heroes stats. Compatible with all Heroes III maps.

No question about it, Germany has/had a lot of stuff like this for many games/software, sold even in the biggest stores. None of it has any connection with the original developers and is mostly just quickly thrown together junk. I kept seeing new lows until I finally laid my eyes on a pack of Microsoft Word templates for making invitation cards for 10 euro.
Nevertheless, interesting find. Erzähl später gerne welchen Maps da drin gibt.

Heh, in my hom ñuntry things like this were common for a long time, as well as pirate localisations of games (because we didn't have licensed ones in access). Yeah, we bought pirate disks. Russian Reversal as is.
Usually such content as featured in the top post was also accompanied by third-party mods, tools, trainers, and viruses too.

Because there was no way to buy official licensed CDs in Russia back in the days. Typical russian HoMM unlicensed editions.
P.S. By the way, the majority of pirated CDs sold in Russia were printed in Ukraine on the equipment from USA.

Ukraine and Belarus didn't differ and also were subject to Russian Reversal on that matter. Fun is, many pirate localizations were of better quality than official ones released later on.

Well I can see it is fake because it states "Mighty" but not "Magical".

I think you are wrong. In Russia in 90s were mostly two types of pirated CDS:
made in Bulgaria (higher quality, cost 2X more), and made in China (cost cheap, no protection layer on upper side of disk.
In Ukraine china disks were sold also.

In Moscow licenced boxes with games were sold in "Dom Tehnicheskoy knigi" (Dome Of Technical Book) on Lenin strasse. And in computer markets of Formoza (as i remember). Near my home also was some computer market. When it got bankrupted, i bought several boxes with old licensed games for price about 1$ each (X-Com, Legend Of Kyrandia, etc).

You forgot to add: in the early 90-ies. A typical examples were the CDs "Best games for IBM PC" from the "-= Classic Fond =-" series. These discs were really chinese.
In the late 90's - early 2000s, the vast majority of CDs became ukrainian. I am an expert in this matter. And by the way, look carefully at the pictures of these discs. Most were printed by Ukrainian company "21st Century" ("Procedure 2000").
