I believe you are talking about Era maps, no? If so, those are self-extracting archives that come with additional content for the map (like graphics for example), after they unpack, a new folder will show in the Mods folder with all the resources the map uses.

Really? I just checked it, but it doesn't have anything new in the folder, and yes I'm talking about era.

Edit: A new mods folder is created inside Maps folder...

Read Era requirements. Any mod/map you extract in era should be done in main folder, not in maps. So you double click on exe, then specify
C:GOG Games/heroes III or wherever your game is.

Show a screen of your mod manager open. If map is enabled in mod manager, map will be in the list of maps when game starts.

Well, in short: is the map enabled in your mod manager? Then it will be available in game.

It does, but the map is the problem, I just can't find it.

OH. How foolish was I! I didn't realise I created a folder and installed Heroes 3 in that folder! I was installing mods in the wrong  place! So... the map is "Time of Prophecy", made by you, are wog selections fine as i choose them?
