MMH 3 HD question
Hey guys, I just got the game today, is it me, or is the map editor practically the same? Honestly, I was expecting the maped to have a cool, HD, and amazing interface like the game itself...

That remake was not worth at all. And yes, editor is the same as it was in Restoration of Erathia.

Thank god I used a torrent to try it out 
Now is the easy part - actually deleting the game from my hard drive 
Now I realise why people hate HD Edition so much...

I was saying Might and Magic HEROES 3, MMH 3! Still, I managed to fool you.
BTW, it's called HD Edition, so can someone explain why there is an SD button?

I said MMH3 is absolute -insert curse storm here- , and I called it by Ubi's trademark to clarify that Ubisoft make defecate(it was confirmed that this word is a socially acceptable word) HoMM games, also, that's the name of the HD edition, so you can go use screws on your head, Frank.

Look at it this way, at least ubi's version of a HD mod won't be confused with the H3 HD mod. Otherwise I agree, I don't like they changed the name, and I won't start calling the game something else.

Can anyone confirm that HD Edition doesn't fully support 1280x1024 resolution? It keeps 4:3 ratio, so I can see black stripes on the top and the bottom of the screen. Should be 5:4. But what I really want is to fix buttons. It seems that clickable area of buttons is magically displaced towards the bottom of the screen. You can even click below buttons and they are still triggered, although they refuse to work whenever you click their upper halves. Version 1.18.

I just tested and can confirm similar behavior to what you are describing.

I also tried it and I uninstalled it about an hour of gameplay. The graphics were good enough but the adventure map and the interface was slow, even on a fast computer. I uninstalled it and reinstalled gog h3 and I was satisfied with the speed increase but I came back to the old sound crash bug, which I can live with.

I heard there was a fix for the 33 cursor refresh-rate limit, although I don't remember exactly where it is. The limit is what makes the cursor move so slowly. It was meant to make it more "cinematic", but I don't buy that bull****.
