According to the skirmish setup information, Lyla is an Archon ingame. As an Archon, Lyla has GM in Necromancy, Defense and Prime Magic, M in Dark Magic, Fire Magic and Paragon and for Expert she has Air Magic, Diplomacy, Explorer and Economy.

Not sure where you got the GM Economy? The only Necropolis class with a GM in Economy is the Death Knight.

I wonder how hard it is to fix a bug massively reported ever since CB1, namely that effects from map objects and other bonuses reapply to a hero after doing a combat. I just tested this thoroughly with the Stables bonus (+5 movement until the end of the week), and I received +5 movement after each combat. So I had 9 movement, did a combat, and then I had 14. Furthermore, restarting the combat applies the effect again, resulting in 19 movement if you restart once, 24 if you restart twice, etc. However, the total movement limit does not increase, being capped at 28 the entire time on that specific hero.

Can you fix this damn bug already? You know, between those rumored 120+ you presumably fixed with the upcoming patch...

Some bugs in version 1.2

- [GAME-BREAKING]: in Necropolis mission 3 there is a hero stationed in Sinlad (center town) and each time I defeat her, she reapers in the Garrison (I can provide the save if it helps you)

- [GAME-BREAKING]: ranged creatures don't have ranged attacks (at least in Necropolis campaign mission 3)

- AI is not improved in-battle: ranged units still defend every time you have a unit adjacent to them


Some more bugs that I've experienced in version 1.1 (not sure if they have been fixed in v1.2):

-  fog shroud did not work on garrison shooter, it was still able to shoot
-  in mission 4 of Haven campaign the wyverns stack did not appear in the tactical phase to be deployed; the work-around was pressing auto-deploy and then rearrange the creatures (it occurred only once to me)

- movement points of some campaign heroes seem to be randomly increasing when passing between areas (Ella in mission 4 of Haven campaign, Masfar in mission 2 of Academy campaign)

- instant recall does not work for Masfar in the 2nd map of Academy campaign; the animation is played but the he remains in the same location; what happens however is that the spell is deactivated for that day (this occurred in the initial areas only)

- casting stage is used by Academy hero outside the area of control of the town

- casting stage spells seem to be taken into account by Arcane catalyst (increase metamagic by 1 for each cast spell); therefore, the hero already has metamagic equal to 3 at the beginning of the  first round

- gold dragon's aura of purity does not seem to work: hero's casting stage applied weakness at the beginning of the fight and during the fight Masfar was able to cast entangle on the gold dragon

- when demoralized animation is played on stack that finds itself inside a firewall, the creature is affected by fire damage multiple times

- not sure if it's intended behavior but firewall affects a stack twice in the first turn after it is cast: first time immediately after being cast and second time when the affected stack reaches its turn

Isn't Lyla supposed to be a necromancer?
Anyway, I have Archon Luna, who can learn GM economy.

As an afterthought: this 'bug' may have been the effect of travellers luck, though I haven't been able to reproduce it yet.

New bug (v. 1.2):
Starting a hot-seat duel of two completely random heroes caused my hero to have a complete lack of army.

Luna is an Embalmer, and Embalmers also have GM Economy.

Lyla is an Archon ingame. I've just checked both these Heroes in a skirmish map and this is what the game shows.

Perhaps they were a different class during the beta, but these are the classes they have now.

Are you sure that Masfar isn't the one who carrying the Tear of Asha at the moment when you are trying to use an instant recall spell? It's impossible to fast travel while the Tear of Asha is in heroe's backpack.

Ebon Knights: Ludmilla, Merikh
Death Knights: Charna, Moander
Bone Guard: Giovanni

There is no way Kaspar and Zakera are death knights. Also Moander is supposed to be a magic hero, not a necromancer. As for Lyla,she is new.
The official site has some wrong stuff(and that's where i got this info) but clearly there's been a mistake when making the necro heroes.

Kaspar definitely not Have not encountered Zakera yet, it is possible that she took up arms since we last saw her.

I was also bummed about Ciele becoming a might hero. I get it that she is but the Ashan equivalent of the original Ciele but.. changing her gameplay orientation?

I'll repeat the message here, because it would seem to be important:

Start having a closer look to the damage that IS dealt, versus the damage that SHOULD BE dealt - I tried the game yesterday and found it faulty.
Example: a Djinn was left with 34 damage. 30 guys doing 30-60 base damage. no abilities or spells involved. attack/defense advantage including hero +10, which means, damage should have been 45-90 (killing the gal), but what happened was, 32 damage dealt, which means, gal was NOT killed and the reason why I noticed it, because I had made sure it would.

There was a nother instance when things didn't work as expected.

My current theory is, that Ranged attacks are not influenced by Hero's Might stat.

So keep an eye on your ranged attacks.

It might have another reason, though, so try to keep track generally of how much damage should be dealt and how much damage is in fact dealt.

Zakera was last seen in vein's campaign in h6 and she was a timid embalmer,with lots of love about diplolacy.
As for ciele i agree, and agathin could be a ranger instead. Also they should throw a vine on her head,and slap some green on her,because she looks so sanctuary right now.

Maybe the damage dealt was calculated,already taking into consideration your hero might stat?

Stevie i had the same happen to me but for a split of a second . did your townscreen freeze at that state?

Sheez, guys, why is this still being discussed? I've checked this ingame and have already pointed out which Heroes belong to which class, ingame. Post can be found here, posted on october 2nd already.

Once again, ingame, the distribution is as follows:

Bone Guard: Giovanni, Zakera
Death Knight: Charna, Kaspar
Ebon Knight: Ludmilla, Merikh

Necromancer: Moander, Zoltan
Archon: Lyla
Embalmer: Luna

That's it, fact, no discussion possible. Check it ingame if you don't believe me.

Look, whatever your name is,when you press on the creature, you see the might bonus from your hero at its attack stat(right click on that sword icon). So it's more logical the damage takes into account your hero's might. So between 30 and whatever the number, 32 is kind of logical. Touchy much?

We are discussing that there might be some kind of mistake. Since the classes i mentioned above are the ones according to lore and the official page. I posted what the heroes and classes should look like.
