The world is not enough

I play a map,called "The world is not enough".It is in russian and have many quests,full of story and events.

So I thought whether anyone of the players here knows it and can give me advice how to proceed with Necro after defeating the Barbarians and freeing Kamelia?

The problem is that there is no summon ship spell,no apprentice book,nor I can have the Book if Life to summon a boat to sail in new areas.

No temples or mage towers that drop scrolls on that map?

I have to admit I have one tower at my disposal,but I wonder whether I will get scroll of summon ship one day.

If you raid it as soon as mages reappear in it you could get lucky, since summon ship is a low level spell. Otherwise use the editor and add the spell or a scroll yourself somewhere and restart the map, since im sure you explored your options extensively.

Ohhh.. did you check if any of your towns allow for building a shipyard? A mistake Ive made in the past.

I think it's a map maker's trick to get it hard to achieve the spell.

You see,the spell is unchecked in the available list,unchecked are also the fields of Tome of Life or Apprentice book as available artifacts.

The towns with shipwards give me access only to small water areas.

The curious thing is-I remember I was able to expand further once,but it was a long time ago and I don't remember how I did it.

Also some script effects seem to not work properly,like the quest hut,which refuses to believe the barbarians are gone and don't activate the bombs.

I'm not familiar with the map, so I can only offer some general tips for now. There is a map with this name on CH, but it doesn't seem to have a single Bomb or Quest Hut. So it must be some other map you're talking about.


So it seems to be either a problem with some quest hut or a missed hidden passage, teleporter, item or enemy.

Try pressing 'v', perhaps you'll notice something you've missed the first time.

As for the quest hut, just carefully check conditions in Campaign Editor. If it wants a certain player eliminated and the game fails to recognize that you already did that, then try taking any creature dwells, mines and garrisons that might still belong to the 'eliminated' player.
It is possible to check the values of some variables in game, but I doubt that would help here.

It's also possible that if you build enough boats, one will eventually appear on a different shore.

I played this map as well. I wonder how you managed to go so far without knowing Russian. You are right: there's no way to the upper water area of the map. You cannot get the summon ship spell or scroll because it is disabled. Most likely, this is mapmaker's mistake. Or, there might be another reason. You can play for Order in this map as well, and order heroes can come to the necro territory. Maybe this map was meant to be played by two people, and they should interfere to each other's territory to proceed.

But even this small part of the map that is playable is greatly designed, and it alone is worth playing.
