Creature redesigns and replacements
Okay, remember when we got the new Lich and Vampires..? It greatly inproved the look and feel of Necropolis (although maybe still a little to much glowing colors and spiders)
Anyway, there are still units with reused models, and while for some it works great (sentinel, minotaur) it is a torn in the eye with most others. Therefor I made this top ten in order to showcase and discuss design and possibly replacement.
10: Ghost
The ghost looks okay, although an original design would have been better. Still doesn't believe it to be gar to important.
9: Assassin
They did a great job with trying to make the H6 design look better, but it still doesn't change the fact that they reused the a bit crappy H6 assassin. Like the ghost, an original design would have been better.
8: Centaur
The current centaur looks okay. What I guess is the problem for most is the fact that it looks like a antilope as well as being to fragile. A more horse like approach would be appreciated.
7: Lamasu
A bad creature in H6, and as far as I know it still haven't gotten much better. To be honest I would it replaced, preferly by some sort of haunted armor. Ar we could just give it a hat...
6: Sylvan elite
And with this I'm refering to a certain creature missing from there. The Unicorn. Probably one of, if not the number 1., most iconic nature faction creature. Wonder why they didn't put it in atleast 2 of the lineups. Doesn't care what it replaces, we need it.
5: Wyvern
Looks like a fat flying chicken. A redesign would be nice...

4: Medusa
About the same reason as the ghost and assassin, just way more imoportant. In all seriousness the coral priestess doesn't work to well as a medusa... Also, a bow would be nice...
3: Strider
The concept is good, the creature itself isn't. Honestly it's what ruins the dungeon lineup. A redesign would be nice, but if it where to get replaced by the manticore or nightmare, it would be better.
2: Green dragon
The nonflying part is good, but the design could have been done way better.
1: Black dragon
What did you expect..? H6's black dragon was terible in every way, and it hasn't got much better. It should be bigger, thougher, actually have wings making sense and way more.

Developers are not going to replace anything at this point, you can either wait for someone to do it or do it yourself.
I myself wanted to replace lots of things, until my interest for the game disappeared completely.

I have to agree with Genya, which isn't often.
The Medusa has a very weird waist, which seems to be intended for legs below it, whereas she has a snake body instead. That part of her body just doesn't make sense and I feel it's only intended to be somewhat "stimulating" for the viewer, if you catch my drift.
The Centaur is a bit likewise, with that notion that the rear side of the body isn't a horse, but looks like a zebra. I know we had those in previous Heroes titles, but it somehow doesn't truly fit. Just part horse is the real definition of a Centaur.

Meh, try find some better artwork yourself, if you disagree... Maybe it is better...

Some of these images take us even further than H5 Dungeon 
However, that haunted armor thing would be nice.

Yeah strider is ugly and so is centaur. i even liked the H6 one over the new one. Waste of a new models

I remember somebody posted a drawing of who he/she thought the strider was going to look. It looked badass! Couldn't find it though...

In ancient Greek myths centaurs were all males. They breeded by stealing human females.

Actually, there are several sources saying there were infact female centaurs, although these wound first commonly appear in later litteratur so on (not to speak of how the greek saw women)

I think you may all be taking this post the wrong way.
Instead of criticizing Medic's choices, use this as an opportunity to post some picture of what you think the units should look like.
I may be wrong of course, but that is what I thought the purpose of this post was.

Are you the designers wife or something?
How can anyone be so blind?
And greek myths don't have female Centaurs at all, only Philippine myths have the Anggitay, which are ONLY female centaurs with bizarre horns on their heads and a fetish for crystals and gems.
