It looks great and original. Maybe it's slightly different than NWC's Forge, but I liked mixing old concepts with new ideas for design. I'd love to play full version of this mod in the future.

Thanks for your thread, do you use the PS tool now? I only use PS to make new object.. I also cannot make a effect of waterfall, And the flow of water.

PS Renovation Center is too big, altrough is most distant. Or it clones giants in tubes?

neither can i, offhand. i have tried various programs to animate the flow of water(with waterfalls, i just find waterfall and related animations online), but none of them so far are satisfactory.

i like your use of lights around the water, in your townscreen. i'd recommend making your own background layers, though(i don't care if you use mine, but making your own has it's merits: it's not hard, and there are countless textures to work with online. it's pretty fun, too, mixing and matching to get something that has your own "signature". ) i also think a different background would blend better graphically with your work, as it is of a different style than the material i'm using. just a thought; as i said, i don't care if you use mine.


if you want to use mine, i'd recommend increasing the contrast of the townscreen until it matches your objects. then just lower the color back down to before, to compensate(increasing contrast also increases color). with your objects, you may not have to lower the color much.

Thanks, I just put all buildings in a screen. But I also need to adjust them many times. It might be troublesome.

are those 3D models you're working with there mate, because the town screen perspective would look more realistic and H3-like if you put them all together in a single 3D environment and created screenshots from that, instead of photoshopping various 2D images together lol

the art is crazy awesome in itself though, don't get me wrong, just townscreen is odd lol

I don't know why the water part is like 80% of your background, it does not fit at all with the mechanical texture of dwellings. IMO, you should revise the background, go on deviant art, collect all sceneries fitting desolation, loneness, futuristic etc, then create your own background based on what you found.

I thought about something like second background for these buildings.
I think it must look like asteroid surface, but be more into red that yellow, to fit these buildings.

PS Current 80% water background is also interesting idea, it's again like Cove, but for space pirates
If author chooses to use another background, I hope he will post here  Water Forge background without dwellings for our use

The backgrounds are really good. But I tried to make a town like a port..Now I live in a house beside the sea and near the industrial port here..So I designed this kind of Forge Town.



And I adjusted the area of water, it might be better.

I like Dreadnought. But it might become a neutral creature in my new mod..I use the Dragon Golem(similar as MM7) to be the Level 7 creatrue in the town.

those are the juggernauts and dreadnaughts i'll be using in my mod. although, i cut some unneeded frames. i realized i forgot to let axolotl know that when i sent him the sounds i made for his creatures(the sounds match up perfectly with my cut version of his work, but for his uncut version, they probably don't. plus, my animation speeds might be different from his, being that i tampered with the cranim.txt for the creatures).

Someone in Chinese Forum does not like the Kabala-Tree..
He said it just like the Christmas-Version Forge.

Maybe I need to change it..

The Purpose I designed the tree is just because I suppose it would  combine the nature and sci-fiction.
Some of buildings might be different from the HOMM3 style, even in the forge town..

The previous design for the new town is a dwarf town, it combines the magic and technology.

The creature like these:
Guard -- Mountain Guard
Spearwielder -- Harpooner
Mauler -- Berseker
Gnasher -- Gullin Burtsi(like a boar)
Rune Mage -- Rune Priest
Cavern King -- Mountain King(like a monster with hammer)
Dragon Golem -- Megadragon Golem

So I used to make Dragon Golem in a dwarf town, but I quited it...

the green cryo chamber(or stasis chamber, or whatever it's called) in your dwelling #5 is something i've also thought about adding to my version of Forge. the object seems to be pretty popular in games where i find various Forge-related graphics. and i like it, too. i have no plans to add it to my townscreen as of yet, but i will definitely be adding it to my map object stuff(not that one specifically; at least i don't think so, but i think i have every iteration of that object. it will come in the form of one of the visitable Forge versions of things i'll be making).
