I hope Bollore takes over the company and then proceeds to apply the same mistreatment to the Guillemot family that they themselves have been inflicting upon the M&M series for all these years. That would be the ultimate poetic justice.

I'm more worried about sweet breads. At the gas station I usually buy some, they are not getting any more sweet breads, which were delicious. Thoughts?

This is starting to get a bit off-topic guys.  Besides, no amount of sweet breads will eliminate the sour taste that Isabel, Queen of the Idiots, Beloved of Pedophiles, Patron Saint of Bad Character Design, left in the mouths of true Heroes' fans.

Ubi is just digging their own grave. Who knows, after all this is over, people around the world will consider Ubi iconic at how much a corrupt company can get.

It only makes me wonder - how do they even manage to maintain their company? I mean that usually a game company with so much negative criticism can only go down (probably even into bankruptcy). So what makes them still so wealthy today?

Ironically, the insistance on calling ubi out on this HAS made the cap iconic as a symbol of Ubi's incomptence.

Ubisoft is making for a better villain irl than they're making any villain in any of their games.

Great video.

Sadly the only way is to stop buying their products. I say sadly because this will likely result in smaller budgets for niche products. At any rate there's no telling what will happen with vivendi.

Even if the two companies end up being baught or if Vivendi ends up gaining the majority of shares, it will need to demand a serious reshuffling of teams, and personel before Ubisoft really changes vision.

I don't see anything sad in not buying a bad product. Why should a community put a franchise on life support by superficially acquiring titles it doesn't even like? If the producer doesn't care then why should we? This is some next level snow going on lately, it's like people's lines of thought are being purposefully derailed that way. How about we come from the position of "we won't buy your crappy games you ****ing Ubicrap" rather than "please please, just get it right next time, we're desperate nerds jerking off to Heroes in their basements". Which position do you think is more respectable and appropriate?

It's simple, bad games should die, good games should live. Anything other than that is a perversion.

I am not so sure i want heroes franchise to die, since it is one of the best strategy games one can find, but that does not mean that i will gladly sti by and let bad games destroy it. Unfortunately, at this point i don't know what else can be done. The heroes franchise has a very rich legacy and some awesome games one can work on and improve upon and then add new stuff to it, but Ubistoft has managed only because of a bad team and a persistent team leader than for the laste two games has offered nothing, destroy the franchise name and reputation.

Hahaha, i was always in the the balance, moving to positive, but since the last few times i tried to play Heroes 7 and 7 patches later and still see broken stuff, i am being more vocal about it. Heroes VI never got that many bugs in my throat but was boring. Heroes 7 is not  as boring as heroes VI but with every map i will find something not working. And i can't blame the Limbic team entirely, becuase they have an expirience level of X and they had to make a game of Expirience needed X+ and under the strict order to publish excactly to the designated date and follow specific Erwanian orders, they delivered what they delivered.

So yeah, i am starting to see that the problem is not within the studios that are tasked to create the game (that each one of them after the game are either not in contact with Ubi anymore or ceise to exists entirely) but with the creative team, that is just "Team", with the creative part and overastimation.

Ubi's responsibility to hire game developers whose CV shows browser games. Creative direction and game design is undoubtedly Erwin and his minions area but bad programming resulting in sloppy code and bugs falls on developers.

So I see problems with both creatives and developers. It is evident for a long time Ubi went with the cheapest candidate for the job but to be perfectly honest I would forgive much more bugs and such if game design and creative direction somehow appealed to me.

That's why i can't balem developer studios really. They follow instructions given by the creative team that have a huge amount of expirience wealth on their hand (Heroes III, Heroes V, clash of heroes, duels of champions) and so many community forums etc that pinpoint what the fans like and instead of sweing together as best they can what really works for ther fans and then decorate with other stuff, they go and create something of a frankensteins monster out of bits and pieces that are not even whole.

Bugs can be fixed and ironed, and this is why i have been optimistic. But it has been 7 patches, with patch 1.7 being advertised as a big one (akin to a DLC) and when it landed it fixed a very small portion of what needed to be fixed.
