Dracolich/Blood dragons morale penalty not working ?

These 2 creatures are supposed to apply a -1 (-2) to enemy morale, but I tested in my game and this doesn't work. Is it the same for everyone ?

(Ghost dragons's penalty works, also Archangels and Supreme archangels morale bonus. In addition, I think Dracoliches can't block attacks even though the description says so.)

I can't tell you sth for sure about the morale thing because I don't have Era installed atm. But the damage blocking always worked for me. This has always been one of the very annoying and dangerous things about fighting dracolichs.
I am pretty sure that the morale penalty works just fine as well, at least for Blood Dragons.

Forget the Blocking thing. Can somebody please test the morale for blood dragons/dracoliches ? Just to be sure.

I ask the question again :

Dracoliches/Blood dragons are supposed to apply -1 morale to enemy units. But they don't, at least in my game. Can somebody please test it too ?

Both work okay. Check your test conditions (terrain, artifacts, skills)

They are correct, unfortunately. Also I tested it with my oldest WoG installation and it still bugs, so this is a bug I've always had. However ghost dragons penalty and other dracoliches abilities are ok, I wonder what can cause this.

Thank you for the video salamandre, I think I get it now.

The dracoliches/blood dragons penalty doesn't work if you're fighting against neutrals.

As strange as it sounds, you can test it :

1 ghost dragon vs neutral peasants -> peasants have morale 0 (normal)
1 blood dragon vs neutral peasants -> peasants have morale 1 (bug)
1 dracolich    vs neutral peasants -> peasants have morale 1 (bug)

1 dracolich   vs Player 2 peasants -> peasants have morale 0 (normal)

Can you test some of these and confirm ? I think that's linked to the "temporary until next battle". I think all of these temporary modifiers don't affect neutrals. An other example :

1 Supreme Archangel in my army      -> I get +2 morale       (normal)
1 Supreme Archangel in neutral army -> They get only +1      (bug)

So, WoG bug ?

I am not going to test all neutrals, tried your peasants, no bug.

I don't mean neutral creatures, but neutral armies (So, blood dragons in your army and peasants on the adventure map)

In wog features it says it needs one hero fighting to get -2 morale. Not only neutrals. Looks like when you have it, it doesn't work vs neutrals indeed. Dunno if bug or was intended. Maybe Slava wanted only when there is one hero.

I don't think it is intended, because in a way this makes blood dragons worse than ghost dragons. Also the -1 morale, especially from dracoliches, would have been useful against neutrals to remove their random double movement. And maybe we will find worse bugs linked to that.
