Now there are some new updates for the new mod..

Magogs and liches can use a Ctrl to choose the range attack.
In tower town, the library was replaced by a magic well, and all categories of towns have a invisible library..
The sprites' dwelling in conflux town is harder to build..It costs 1000 coins, 5 ores and 1 gem.You must build the magic guild 1 first..maybe Luna will despond for this..However, the sprites have 25 a week for based production rate.The building Garden of Life was replaced by Circle of Flame, which can make the firebird to have extra one production for one week..and firebirds are just have one for a week with fort and citadel.

Cyclops have an extra building for add the production. And cyclop king can cast misfortune while they hit the enemies with melee attack.

We also have some new functions, for instance, the exchange for artifacts for two heroes in the town interface..and the scholarism can also have an effect.Furthermore, heroes can have a big package to deposit more artifact, and they can combine artifacts in the package..

We set many objects into the water, such as hill fort, university, magic school etc..almost all ground objects have the same function ones in the water. We also create some new objects and banks!

So please notice our project...It might be released in this year.

I tried to use ERA for my mod last year and before, but it was not a success. Now I try to use assembly language(hex editor) to make the new mod. Maybe it just like HotA in some aspects. Actually I don't work with any mods simply because I just add the data segments into the original heroes3.exe.

Now I added two buttons in hero interface:


Magic button allows players use adventure magics in this interface.

Package button allows to open the big package.

Maybe we don't have good model designer, some of models are made by myself..Now if anyone have a suitable model for Asylum Town creatures please tell me here..we need better models for Spirit Swordsmen/Spirit Elites(single size,Tier 5) and Planeswalkers/Voidwalkers(double size,Tier 7)

Don't worry. There are a lot of models in net. You can work on those. I see you done good rebuilding another models like city ecrans eg. another rampart. See on fairy town in era mods. There are no units. Units are in VCMI! Maybe it will be useful. Or abbys VCMI town Axolotl models. I think that this town match with your project style. Or look at creature banks. There are about 2000 models. You can use it. It will by fast.

It's a good news for mod maker anyway, but for  HoMM3 player like me, I more care about the end result. I hope the graphics and playstyle can be fit to the orgianal ones in SOD. Someways my opinion just like Nephretes.

Turbanellos made cool graphics, and already made some global mods working.

Programming is the most importatant thing. If you want another graphic see eg. Fred objects 4000 new graphics.
Its losing time at this moment working on graphic. They should build this mod using graphic from net and if they finished and all will be work they can think about new graphic.

You're wrong, I'm afraid. Turbanellos is very gifted in modding. From what I remember he made many great graphics and mods that actually worked.

Two thoughts :
If people just say "that's nice" or "that's bad" or "one more fail", it won't help things to be finished. Turbanellos wrote two or three times he needs graphic help but none answer for it. So normal if someone can't do all things "alone" in no time...
I'm not able nor to speak cheneese nor to edit town models for now. But building things and give help shall be of use to see mods be finished.

A second, if you find nice creatures to make a faction, if you have things who don't go "together" its not good. Even if creatures done are nice one by one, getting a "town" needs from 1 to 7 creatures looks to same "faction"... So its quite hard work to finish this.
(And one more to make it work without bug...)

Anyway, Turbanellos, if some beginner's help shall be of use for modification of a creature, equilibrate some things of something like that, I shall give a try to help you.
If I fail, that shall be a try. If its sucess, it's nice ! Good luck in your attempt and have fun in modding.

could you share how you added new  buildings for towns? how did you do new towns? do you  know how  to make more  heroes?

Do you use only assembler and hexedit, or you compile the code and then merge with  original code?

I am modding for some time, and I am beggining in plugins for era an reverse engeneering. I'd like a bit of cooperation

I have a question about map hero model used in Turbanello's Preserve mod. It doesn't match its battle model. Was it taken from somewhere else or is it just a really nice looking photoshop?
