Well, I of course agree that if you feel good that way, it's fine.
However, my "problem" is that people who work for beauty are very often disliked or ridiculed. While surgeries are somewhat controversial, I've seen many people criticized for lesser stuff. In a world obsessed about "hard working", it is a bit weird - we are a society that promotes effort, but in beauty's case, what's praised is mostly what you're born with.

The concept of "hard working" its body through gym appear with age. From 15-30 it won't make big difference if you visit the gyms, but after 40, well... you will see.
Having a lover with a belly completely hiding his pee-pee isn't sexy. Put all your home upside down because you try to change a position when with a +100 Kg women isn't very arousing neither. The body experiences serious changes at middle life, or both healthy food and physical training will consequently slower this process.

Doomforge, I think the main problem that people would have is when you work hard for your money and then change the way you look when there's nothing at all wrong. The amount of people that do it and you think to yourself...Why??

Why? Hmm.. I think it's because we make a lot of "compromises" with what we perceive as satisfying. A band-aid fix. Young people generally want to be rich, happy, beautiful. In time, they "accept themselves", because our limitations make it impossible, and it's either "accepting yourself" or living in constant anxiety.
But those things are still there, just neatly covered. Like I said earlier, I think a lot of people underrate the rather simple nature of brain chemistry.
