Map suggestions for terrain types? Heroes 1, 4, 5, 6, 7?
Hi Everyone!
I have been wondering as I had worked on the soundtracks for various heroes games I had some difficulty finding maps with the right "look" to get across the terrain. I am not good with the map tools nor do I have much time to put in the details I'd like unfortunately...
I more or less plan to have animated videos of the maps running ingame. Heroes 1 and 4 I will have to crop the video and stitch multiple together to make an HD image but the effort would be worth it.
I have done a couple already for Heroes 5.
For example:
Underground
and
Swamp
I had planned for a long while to create animated soundtracks of the entire Heroes series. Though I've been a bit distracted as of late.
Any help would be appreciated! (And credit given for helping me)

Great idea.
I'm going to be a bit negative but <imo> you need lots of clips to make this work.
I can help you with H5. Again, <imo> because it is 3d it 'can' be an amazing game to see but the mapmaker has to use some imagination. My main reason for making maps and playing games in H5 was the terrain; it is right up my alley...so to speak.
