(I've seen) AI casted remove obstacle in RoE. Now's easier opponent. Many mapmakers used AI abuse. I don't think AI knows how to use firewall and force field. The first remove obstacle back. I don't install RoE, and taking ptsc.

You may be right, but I don't mind that the computer doesn't use these spells because I don't use them myself. xD

I noticed that the text is correctly centered in RoE. In the Complete version, it is no longer perfectly centered.

Does anyone know the offset responsible for centering texts in frames????

Really? Quicksand and Force Field can both be lifesavers, in certain situations.
Fire Wall is great, if your name is Luna.
Remove Obstacle and Land Mine are a bit more questionable...

It's possible to make AI cast these spells. Probably the trick with Berserk would work, but you also need a weighting function for each of them.

Weighting function? You mean in sptraits? I think it is set to 1 for all 5 spells, but so is Sacrifice and a few other spells, if I remember correctly, but it actually cast them, unlike the 5 I mentioned.
Berserk was actually set to 60, but as we know AI did'nt cast it.

Does anyone know how to center the text? He was centered correctly in the RoE. Not in add-ons and Complete versions. This only applies to texts that use medfont. I am Polish and I am sending the screen:

No, you have to add a case to sub_43B2E0 so that it would return non-zero value. Now it returns the function which sets weight to 0 for spells (cases 4-11,23-25,48,49,51-55,57).

I don't know what you're talking about because my English is poor. All I did was find a place in the hota.dll where the CD CC CC 3D CD CC 4C 3E 9A 99 99 3E (10%/20%/30%) was listed and experimented.

Still nobody knows where to edit Cove's Mage Guild?

Is there no way to make neutral creature dwellings appear from random dwellings?

Also can pyramids be revisited, to have a chance to learn the spell again? (When guards are defeated they should not reappear, but the -2 luck should still take effect.)

Hello there,

I was thinking about elementals and I found the "hate system" between opposite elementals "a bit strong"...
So I had in mind to add +50% damage (or +30%) for opposite elements instead of +100% but don't know if it can easily be done by hex editing..
Also for "earth and air" I don't really find logic they "hate themselves" as I find "air shall not really make more damage on earth" and samely "why shall earth affect that much air" ? As they have magic protection against opposite element... I'd like to know (still by hex editing) if it is possible to give a "not hate" between them for they do "-50% damage" (or -30% damage) respectiveley Air<=>Earth (and Storm<=>Magma)

I removed luck/morale bonuses from Pendant of Courage (set it from 3 to 0) and gave it Mind Immunity from Badge of Courage instead. But the problem is that i cant remove text in Morale/Luck windows and it still says Pendant of Courage +3, while there are no such bonuses.

So I tried to delete these lines from ARRAYTXT, but since .exe is making calls to them, Luck/Morale text becomes messed up. Can someone say what i need to delete in .exe to stop Pendant of Courage from requesting these ARRAYTXT lines?
