HoMM 5: How to edit .sav files?
I would like to play around and edit my save game files, but they are not read-able by a simple program like Notepad.
Is there a save game editor (or converter) that works for Heroes of Might & Magic 5?

I am looking exactly for the same thing: a way to edit my .sav files, since I would like to replay some of the original campaign missions but with a different skill set.

However, the link you are providing explains how to convert the SAV files of SPSS (a statistical analysis tool) to CSV format, which has nothing to do with the saved game files of HOMM5.
I think that the saved games of HOMM5 are in hexadecimal format, so, does any of the modders in here know how to edit the skills and perks of an hero in those files?

One of my friends was trying to hack save file but if it is possible, it will be work on both players? Because we cannot play few impossible maps with computer because it is stucking.
