Is this a good behaviour? Obviously not. You infact lower yourself while doing so. Does these guys recognize this? Perhaps not. Was the event so radical if you where have been there, you would atleast shouted STOP it? Me, no. Just because some group acts immature, not violating physically or verbally anyone, this really is not a big thing.

Good if you are above it, but there will be jerks always. Don't see this as racism, just stupidity.

Yes, I said it is a desolating spectacle. But I refute the fact of an necessary excuse. Those people are in their country, drinking a lot, having fun, celebrating, then are suddenly confronted to a reality from which our borders should keep us away.

There is misery everywhere. If you constantly think or look at, you cry then you feel giving up, because you alone can't fix it. But also, when you try looking at from a higher perspective, you understand that the concept of potency, when applied to a nation, means being able to also change other nations fate. Not assist each of its individuals, which is only artificially pushing the deadline, but give to ALL of them a different future.

The refugees problem is not how to deal with them, but how to deal with the causes of their run, otherwise billions more will come, until we are literally strangled. Or right now, we are diluting our last resources for individual cases and s**t talk about compassion, instead of attacking to the core source of the problem.

I don't see what academic education has to do with this. Nazi Germany was full of educated people who were throwing jews and gypsies in death camps. What we have here is standard behavior from a group of gypsies entertaining some stupid soccer fans. If you don't like it then shake your head and walk away, but don't pretend it's something unexpected.

Well, actually, they are the Dutch drinking in Spain. But that's hardly the point, is it? The beggars and the coin throwers could have been from the same country, as I said, this is not about global politics or national borders. At least, that's not why I linked it in the first place. But if you go there, then I'd say international politics has a lot to do with immigrants from poor countries and you can't say "our borders should keep us away" when the politics inside those borders are the reason of the overflow. Let's take a look at what you said in the US politics thread for example:
Sal said:
Trump wants to close borders to Muslims? He will be the first one from a long list to come. In the next decade, African conflicts will multiply by xxxx, due to unavoidable wars for natural resources; and then the oil will be gone, so you will have 3 billion Africans leading for US/Europe. Can we handle that? I doubt. You can continue to sing "la la la, I don't hear" until then, but someone has to start the count down.

What you say basically comes down to this: Rich countries are going to plunder Africa for oil reserves because that's just how the world is. And when Africans try to escape that mess, somebody will close the borders because they should.

Don't you really see something wrong here?

If a system constantly produces intolerable inequality and unjustly so, nobody can eventually keep sitting in their crystal palaces, things will spill over. This used to happen on a national level just a few centuries ago, think of Zola's Germinal. Everybody there is French right, but the wealthy ones are suddenly "confronted to a reality from which their fences should keep them away."

Worst football ultras are Polish football ultras. Period. They do not care about the game, only to cause riots.

Otherwise, hardcore sports fans are pretty chill dudes, until you try to bash the team they're rooting for.

Still, the behaviour in the vid is pathetic. They could've spent that money on beer instead.

Well, I have an outmost hatred for Football hooligans, especially the Dutch.

Those bloody barbarians are the right descendants of their fathers, and deserve to be locked in cages for their crimes.

I mean, I know that the Netherlands don't have that much art, but did you have to destroy our wealth?

Is the system who produces such inequality, or the natural selection? Adapt or die still is the condition of life, the technological progress only made that even more primordial.

Life is wilderness, it always was. In the sense that there are periods where you will struggle for survive, you will be tested, you will be betrayed, where you will need to prove your strength, whatever is its nature. Civilization is only a word we use to make ourselves think we achieved some moral or technological harmony. Yet when we get angry we act exactly as the neanderthal guy, back in time, using the force as definitive argument.

But, to put it more pragmatic, what do these people, who can't reach and live by our civilization standards, lack? You can't all blame on modern humans greed, this is quite new, the resources spoliation at international range. Why do we constantly have to keep entire continents under perfusion, and even more, ask forgiveness and feel guilty? Where is everyone's responsibility here?

Where is illness, there must be a cause, then a diagnostic. Our politically correct prohibits us to search beyond the illness, which, in our desire for equality, we choose to miscall "bad luck". From here, every diagnostic and further remedy can only be wrong.

Yes artu, and we have every day in the medias people revealing the truth, who created Isis, who hires and pays the mercenaries used against Assad, we know Iraq was invaded on a lie, we know all this mess is hiding greed and higher interests. But it continues, right? Did anything changed in positive or it gets worse each time?

Therefore I have my own opinion, that stronger wins, the poorer loses. Every time. But for me power or weakness are not a matter of army power or bank account. It is very hard to plunder a civilized country, a country with universities, with medias, with freedom of speech, with a democratically elected government, a country governed by rationality and by rational values.

You see where we go there?

after watching the videos, i want to turn a flamethrower on the people throwing coins and laughing. at least 2 people had the decency to tell them they were snowheads.

as for the beggars, people so poor that they no longer have dignity, is a hard thing to watch. i've never seen anyone treat the homeless here like that. and i've seen beggars in worse shape than those, as well.

the blissful entertainment that those snowheads derive from the beggars, reminds me of a snuff video i saw that was filmed somewhere in europe(i forget atm); where 3 teens beat and stabbed a homeless man to death. it's near that same level of coldness towards a human being.

Well actually the beggars indeed do look like Roma and such behaviour is hardly unusual for them. Their "families" usually have this nice division of labour - children beg, women beg and prostitute, men steal, all this combined with sucking the local welfare system results in a fairly decent monthly income per capita, usually above what they would normally earn if they actually get a job. There are exceptions to the rule of course but they are never those who emigrate to the richer countries where the income from begging, stealing and prostituting is better than in the looted Balkans (reference - the video).

On the other hand, the idiots having fun with throwing coins at beggars are your typical brainless trash which can be expected to behave like typical brainless trash no matter the context, nothing worth commenting really.
