Just to be clear - you want a WEEK of the Devil or MONTH of the Devil?

For the former, you just need to set an event giving +5 Devil growth in Inferno towns.

For the latter it's memory/exe editing that will work similar to this program eliminating creature growth in memory.

Growth through events is the baseline for the map, they have five cities in their area while player has six. Unfortunatelly, the output of those 5 towns is always way greather then the six player has.

Sorry if this is too basic for the thread but I'm quite new at this.
I made my map like this:

1.Made the montains spliting regions;
2.Distribute the towns;
3.Build the roads;
4.Mines and powerups;
5.Banks;
6.Distribute resources;
7.Start testing;
8.Write events for growth (present moment);
9.Someday in the future, put flowers and mushrooms around the important stuff.

Am I setting myself for a map that looks unfinnished? Should I design the area everytime I decide to put a pile of resources?

I've followed Biobob's [url=http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=42328&PID=1369767#focus]guide[/url] for creating new monoliths with WoG Editor and it somehow totally screwed up the system of subterranean gates on my map. Some gates began to correspond with ones in completely random places and others stopped working at all.

I haven't deternimed how exactly new monoliths impact gates, but once I delete the portals (I added 3), everything returned to normal, so keep it in mind if your ever use this guide.

Subterranean Gates have always been a thing I like to avoid... as you say, there are some problems arising when putting many monoliths on map; this is a good incentive for me to investigate more about this, but for now: The best fix is to replace all subterranean gates with monoliths and make them look like gates

Does anyone have any idea of how to make AI stop behaving stupidly? In my first test I noticed Castle was getting behind and one of the reasons was they seam not to upgrade Portal of Glory neither first nor second week, despise me being pretty sure 120.000 gold day one plus 5.000 everyday are enouch to build three dwellings. So, I desabled all level 7 dwellings and build and upgrade them day 7 of week one and you know what? After one month there are still some without upgraded units.
I have no idea of what to do.
Can this have something to do with the fact that I made them all (but the guy patrolling the underground, who is Explorer) Builders?

I think Biobob already answered this: AI is stupid and will remain so

Possible solutions:
Make events to build buildings for them.
Or better yet, give them creatures through events. e.g. place an event next to a dwelling so they visit it once each week.

Yeah, I was just hoping someone was aware of something triggering this in particular.

While some seem decided to play dumb others may prove to be a challenge... (No Black Orbs except from quests in enemy (surface) territory.

Well here's a beta version; I've been slowly translating it to English but resizing buttons and centering isn't finished as I've been too busy on too many things lately.

Hello.
The creature of the month program is really precious!
I am a Heroes 3 dinosaur using HD Mode. Each time I play user made maps this program saves my game from getting ruined, as I am able to skip both month of creatures and plague.

There are a few answers to customize fights without ERM, but you won't get as much customization.

1. Use Events/Pandora's Boxes/Garrisons. if you use my mapeditor you can place 255 garrisons and 65,535 Events/Pandora's. Gives great customization but it's difficult to tell player what's waiting.

2. Use the knowledge of your army value and the value of the Wandering Creatures. More details here. You can also use the tool posted below (it's an English translation of the one posted by Biobob) to determine whether there is an upgraded stack or not at a given coordinate.

Note: These values are changed if you use HD+ mode from HDmod (same with combat terrain obstacles).
This is the most limited option out of the three but can be used to make some puzzles if you're patient enough

3. h3mdllembed. I can't tell you the exact way to make this work as -I don't yet know- (ask potmdehex, though he may be a bit busy with HotA 1.5 atm). Basically it will let you modify game memory when the map is loaded. If you use a memory reader (e.g. Cheat Engine) you can try to find a reliable way to identify what you want to modify and have it done automatically. Relevant information in this thread.
Potentially the most powerful option (similar possibilities to ERM) but also the most complicated! (imo)

Another question... i have a problem with accesing objects. Normally you need 2 slots to use some objects, you cant acces it directly.

For example, make a corridor with 1 open slot. Put some signs in it. I cant acces those signs If I'm going up/down...but I can take resources,artifacts etc!

can this be fixed in map editor ?

As far as I know it can't be set in mapeditor, either it is a function of the game.exe or maybe some txt files in lod. Dunno.

For current objects, best reference is FizMiG's, for example:

Can't get that far, I think my download is bugged...
I presume the Seer's Hut is meant to give Water Walk as a reward?
In the map I downloaded there is no reward in the Seer's Hut (not expired, checked in editor and No Reward)

Here is a plugin for HDmod and SoD!

These fixes were made by me but would have been impossible without potmdehex's help and his H3 tools.

[+]show # kills in battle & battle hex coordinates


[+]no random +5 creature growths each week; Week of the Imp is still allowed


[+]no plague and no random creature of the month spawning on map; Month of the Imp is still allowed


[+]right-click monster in battle leaves textbox open so you can look at spell duration on enemies


[+]restores original battlefield obstacles even when used with HD+ option
(you can use infinite Replay Battle to win that fight in Wayfarer faster )



[+]implements 65,535 objects patch by AlexSpl

See this thread.

Installation
Same as other HDmod plugins:
1. unzip to Heroes3/_HD3_DATA/Packs (you should get a folder and the dll inside it as shown below)

2. Start HD_Launcher.exe
3. In the plugins section, click 'Add' and select SoD SP+



If you don't get a folder and the dll within it, it will not work.
If you put add an extra folder, it will not work.
If you follow exactly those steps and it doesn't work, post here. There has been some testing but not extensive.

Uninstall
Go to step 3. of Installation but hit 'Remove' instead of 'Add'.

Other
Not tested in multiplayer, but target audience is single player maps so...

26/05/2017 Updated... forgot to uncomment min(#kills, creatures_alive) which I had changed while testing.

Making generators accumulate creatures is definitely possible, just have to look at the function adding creatures weekly and (likely) modify how the accumulation is done.

That being said this one is low on my list of priority because it changes SoD gameplay and I have a lot of other bugs I'm trying to fix. e.g. resource, experience overflow
