Map Corrupted - Need Help

So my computer decided to crash while I was making a new map.  Of course, when I try to open it again, it says the map is corrupted.

BUT!  I have had a secondary backup copy at all times just in case this sort of thing happened.  Yet...

...even though the copy wasn't open or being used, somehow the copy is corrupted, too!  What the heck!!!


Anyways, is there any way to open the thing up again?  :/   This isn't the first time this has happened to me, and it's getting a little frustrating...
